Liked: Lots of people to meet and good courtyard to socialise in. Nights out planned and good fri night BBQ

Disliked: Clean linen in rooms but room is never hoovered etc. If youre staying in the big dormitory lots of people drinking till late on the balcony below the dorm window.

Disliked: It is quite expensive compared to the Aussie Great Backpackers hostel which is located in the same street.

Liked: Good location, Nice outdoor areas and walking distance to interesting places.

Disliked: Other comments complained about lack of bathrooms but there are more on the floor below. was fine.

Liked: almost all people in hostel are very friendly and awesome even all toilets are cleaned. It's sort of perfect hostel for me.!!!

Liked: the staff were very nice, lots of thing on offer!!

Disliked: the noise, not from the hostel but the street out side our room, very very noisey!!

Liked: good location and price. from other i spoke to they had tried many hostels in kings cross and kept leaving because they were dirty so moved here. rooms had fridge, fans and tvs.

Disliked: i was in a room without a fridge or fan. all the other room i went in were really nice and some had balconies but mine was extremely hot.

Liked: The staff were really really kind and helpful, free tea and coffee, the outdoor area, great area, awesome outdoor areas. Lots of great stuff!

Disliked: The people who we were sharing our room with went to bed really early and they had all their stuff everywhere, quite messy.

Liked: Not a lot

Disliked: Room was smelly & very untidy; kitchen very noisy, overcrowded, dirty. Internal courtyard full of smokers and the entire site reeked of cigarettes 24 hours a day.

Liked: Even though in the party suburb Kings Cross the hostel itself is quiet after 10pm every day. Only on the weekends there is a bit of noise on the street outside but the location is very good and quiet. Train 2 min walk and even Opera House is nice enjoyful 30 mins walk. BBQ night is very good and the nights out as well.

Disliked: Only thing is, that the hostel could have more bathrooms.

Liked: Convenient location to major attractions in the city, with a rail stop within a few hundred meters from the hostel. Helpful staff. Well-maintained facilities.

Disliked: Can be noisy even in late hours of the night and early morning hours, due to the large density of hostels and pubs in the area

Liked: Nice staff, very helpful, good facilities!

Disliked: Sydney and Kingscross at nighttime is full of cockroaches. If you don´t mind, this might not be a problem, but we don´t like to have contact with them.

Liked: The staff was very kind and helpful. I had a rough start to my travels with my backpack not arriving with my flight and other inconveniences- but these guys went out of their way to help me out in any way they could. Thanks a lot!

Liked: Old but full of character. Friendly. Ensuite room was modern with good shower. Good bedding.

Disliked: Dble room with ensuite was small and high windows made it a little claustrophobic. Room hot and stuffy in hot weather. Noisy next to the road. Bed was flimsy.

Disliked: Very clean hostel. Don't worry about being in Kings Cross, it's not rough or anything like what people say. Great place to meet people and loads of place to drink, eat and see nearby!

Liked: The hostel has been really comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend it to fellow travellers.

Disliked: To be honest, there was not a single thing I did not like.

Disliked: The room was a mess. Too dirty. Bathrooms were not clean either.

Liked: Kings Cross is a good location, very nice area, still in walking distance to the harbour (approx 20 min)Julia, the German girl at the front desk was very nice!Nice courtyard

Disliked: This old house would should get more attention, maintainance. The 10 bed dorm was so dirty, on one wall there was such a huge area covered with fungi. Beds were horrible - dorm is a mess; and does someone EVER clean the floor?? Kitchen is disgusting. Good idea of free stuff (you can leave some food for others when leaving) but the older cleaning lady just threw most of the stuff away in the morning - so why do you have this box?? Tour recommended was the worst ever - no thanks, Bruce. Not enough bathrooms, and sometimes disgusting, too. The door to the 10 bed dorm was broken, so one evening someone just stepped in (not even a guest!!) Courtyard may only be enjoyed until 10pm

Liked: People who work here are very friendly and it is not right in the middle of the night life so is nice and quiet at night. Only a few mons walk to everything.

Disliked: Internet only in common area. It doesnt make much sense to me that I cant access internet in my room, where I can have more privacy.
