Liked: Properly the best hostel that ive ever stayed in the room i stayed in with my partner was like that of a hotel room. Its in a great location and even offers you that additional bit of security with a safe! cant ask for more, if i ever go back to kings cross id defently stay here. just great value for money.

Liked: Although its just around the corner from Kings Cross you can still have a chilled night in and if you do want to go out the hostel provides cheap nights out everyday of the week. Also the BBQ Friday is a must!!

Liked: Lovely courtyard, really friendly staff and cool happenings everyday.

Disliked: Creaky, no noise in the courtyard after 10 pm and you had to pay for wifi

Liked: Really friendly atmosphere, great location, really friendly, helpful staff. My room was really nice, and the slight lack of bathrooms is easy to combat, it's really not a big problem.

Disliked: Nothing :) A bit pricey but that seems to be a pretty common theme in Australia!

Disliked: Small bunk beds. If you're over 6ft you'll be too tall.

Liked: It was so close to Kings Cross station so only a few minutes to the city or there was plenty to see and do and eat in the cross itself. Room was great value and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Nothing at all. Very pleased with it.

Liked: Big, spacious rooms. Friendly staff.

Disliked: It was a little on the dingy side. And the free airport pick up service was a bust. I waited so long that I eventually gave up and made my own way to the hostel. The staff were very apologetic, but it still put a downer on the beginning of my trip.

Liked: This was my second stay here and it really felt like coming home. It's very cozy and welcoming. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and the nightly activities allow you to get to know everyone in the hostel. I would definitely go back.

Disliked: The building is old but I think that's what gives Original its character.

Liked: Close to the train station. Free pickup service from the airport was a delight to have, it saved time and money. Within an hour's walking distance from a great view of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The staff were extremely informative and helpful. Would definitely come back again.

Disliked: Bathrooms could use a bit of a clean. The fridge and television in our rooms were broken, not that it mattered if you were out all the time.

Liked: The Original Backpackers Hostel has an excellent location (only two minutes from Kings Cross station) and is a cheap hostel without taking away from your accommodation or rooms. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and the staff are very friendly and helpful!
