About Coodlie Park
Set on a large rural property (3000 acres.1250 hectares) Coodlie Park Farm Retreat is situated on the coast between Venus Bay and Elliston and nestled between Mt Camel Beach and the spectacular Talia Caves.
Our accommodation range is diverse from Bed & Breakfast, Self Contained Cottages, Shared Dorm Rooms or a Bush Camp ground. Guests on the property can enjoy their own private beach with outstanding views of the Great Australian Bight, enjoy a nocturnal wildlife and stargazing tour. Our resident wildlife includes kangaroos, emus, wombats and it really is a great place to bird watch.
On your own or on one of our preplanned tours, you will be able to explore a wide range of destinations - including some special attractions which are not generally available to the public.
The surrounding area is one of South Australia's best kept secrets. You are, of course, free to do your own thing, be it adventure or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere.
The guests to Coodlie Park Farm Retreat can also get involved with some of our environmental projects and while on the property can help offset their own carbon travel footprint - this is a fantastic project and people are keen to be involved.
Coodlie Park Farm Retreat also offers a secluded beach for a range of excellent fishing opportunities. Your stay can range from, a simple "veg out" by yourself or with your family through to a fully catered stay for individual or groups with tours planned and organized. The only things that will disturb you at Coodlie Park are the abundant bird life, kangaroos and wombats or the sound of the waves crashing down at Mount Camel beach one and a half kilometers away.
We hope that you will join us and experience why we love our region and especially Coodlie Park Farm Retreat.

It’s a bushwalker’s dream: While walking around the homestead you’ll come across a menagerie of Australian wildlife: emus, wombats and kangaroos! There’s a 45-kilometer stretch of sandy beach that reaches to Walkers Rocks. Walk the South Head Walking Trail where you can see pods of dolphins playing in the pristine seas of Venus Bay.
Aspiring photographers: Feel the fresh southern ocean breeze while standing at lookouts over the best views the Great Australian Bight and the Eyre Peninsula have to offer.
Here at Coodlie Park we aim to work with other great tourism businesses on the Eyre Peninsula to ensure that you get the best that the region has to offer, like swimming with dolphins and sea lions at Baird Bay or deep sea fishing in the Great Australian Bight.
