About Coral Sea Villas

The property has nine apartments all with a private balcony and courtyard with outdoor dining facilities so that guests can take advantage of our tropical climate. Other outdoor facilities on the property include a secluded 14 metre saltwater pool surrounded by palms and tropical plantings. Sun lounges are provided pool side for guests to relax and take in peaceful surroundings. The communall BBQ area has seating for eight for alfresco dining in a shade house garden area.
For your convenience we have a reception lounge and tour desk with brochures , maps and staff who can provide information and book tours to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park. With 20 years experience living and holidaying in this region we have a wealth of local knowledge to share with our guests so talk to us about the path less traveled and what makes Port Douglas unique.
The property is surrounded by palm trees and many native fruit trees and exotic flowering plants which attract an abundance of wildlife - our regular visitors include birds such as Sunbirds, Papuan Frog mouths, Torres Strait Pigeons, White Lipped Green Tree Frogs, Bandicootes and Ulysses Butterflies.
Should you require snorkeling instruction, a babysitter or a private massage we have staff on hand who can assist you.

Accommodation Information

The nine private apartments have recently been renovated and are able to sleep 4 people in the 2 bedrooms ( 2 couples in a queen and king double ) or four singles in a queen double , 2 king single beds and a queen size sofa bed in the lounge. All linen is supplied with beach towels for hire at $8 for the duration of your stay.
The apartments are fully air-conditioned and self-contained with one or two bathrooms . For those wishing to self-cater there is a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, cutlery, crockery provided. The open plan dining area has facilities for 6 people or outdoor dining for 4 is available in the courtyard or balcony. After a day out when you need to relax in comfort, the living area has a 5 seater couch with a chaise for catching up on the latest news or watching a movie. An additional television is available in the second bedroom to cater for those with alternative viewing requirements.
Laundry facilities - a washer and dryer are provided in the apartment.

Coral Sea Villas is located in a residential area of the main street just 60 metres from the main beach, 4 Mile Beach. We are 60 metres from the retail and restaurant precinct of Port Douglas and on the bus route should you need to venture further afield.
There are up to 40 restaurants, coffee shops and fashion stores galore within an easy walk of our front gate. Great coffee and cake is available at Origin cafe, Whileaway and Zinc.
For a casual lbreakfast or lunch Lure and Under Wraps offer fresh healthy fare at a reasonable price. Dining out at night - great Thai food is available at the Star of Siam, also the Combined Services Club, the Yacht Club and the Surf Club offer reasonably price meals. For more up market dining options in town try Salsa - our most awarded restaurant offering fresh local produce with a spicy Cajun, Asian or Moroccan influence. Zinc, Watergate, Harrisons all come highly recommended for a-la-carte dining, Bucci for Italian and for a special rainforest dining experience the Nautilus is amazing.
Shopping
Most tour operator will pick you up and drop you back at your accommodation on completion of your tour so a vehicle is only an option if you wish to explore a wider area such as the tablelands or venture north beyond Cooktown to the Cape York.
