Located approx. 60km from Cairns Airport, Port Douglas Sands Resort is located opposite the Sheraton Mirage Resort on Port Douglas Road. You can get here by car, airport shuttle, limousine or taxi.

Airport Transfers
ON ARRIVAL
SUN PALM TRANSPORT operates 3 manned service desks at Cairns Airports, one in each of the arrival terminals to assist you with your transfer. Airport to City Shuttles operates 24 hours a day - all flights are met by our airport representatives. Your Sun Palm driver will then take you to your accommodation with a minimum of delay.
ON DEPARTURE
SUN PALM TRANSPORT has regular seat-in-coach pickup departure times to Cairns Airport from Cairns, Palm Cove (Northern Beaches), Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation. City to Airport Shuttles operate from 0400 hrs until 1900 hrs.



SUN PALM TRANSPORT operates a local shuttle bus service between the Marina Mirage and the Rainforest Habitat with scheduled stops at all major resorts including the Sheraton Mirage (opposite us), Rendezvous Reef Resort, Radisson Treetops Resort and the Sea Temple Resort & Spa and all golf courses. This service runs every half hour from 0700hrs to midnight every day.

For a local transfer outside these hours, PORT DOUGLAS TAXI’S operate around the clock 24 / 7 and are a part of the SUN PALM TRANSPORT network.
