Accommodation Information

Offering fully self-contained one and two bedroom apartments, Lychee Tree has something for everyone looking for quality accommodation that does not break the budget. Why share a kitchen with dozens of others or line up to use the bathroom when you can have your own home away from home here in the tropics of north Queensland?

Lychee Tree has a gorgeous salt water resort pool surrounded by swaying palm trees and comfortable sun loungers, perfect for those lazy days working on your tan. The barbeque and entertaining area also overlook the pool and can be lit up by flaming torchlight for some memorable evenings in the balmy tropical atmosphere. There is even an outdoor fridge to chill your drinks whilst you cook your feast.

One Bedroom Apartments sleep up to two people with a queen bed in the main bedroom. Two Bedroom Apartments sleep up to four, with a queen bed in the main bedroom and twin single beds in the second. A limited number of apartments are available with an additional single bed in the main bedroom. These must be specifically requested after booking and are subject to availability and possible additional charge.

Location Information

Lychee Tree is located in the perfect position in Port Douglas. It is an easy four minute walk to the splendor of the famous Four Mile Beach, where you may choose to stroll down the sandy shores enjoying more of that fabulous sunshine. The Village Centre is also nearby, a 10-15 minute easy stroll, or there is a bus which passes the complex four times per hour.

There are also four restaurants within a couple of minutes of Lychee Tree, or you are free to make use of the BBQ or cook up a storm in your own kitchen.

Port Douglas is the place where you can do as little or as much as you like. While it may be tough to look past past a diving, snorkeling or fishing trip to The Great Barrier Reef, our other World Heritage site, The Daintree Rainforest, is not to be forgotten. From sky diving to rafting to jungle surfing, four wheel driving, walking, golfing, river snorkeling or mountain bike riding, the list of activities is endless.
