Liked: I was a bit hesitant to book at this hostel due to the bad online rating, but after staying there I have to say it doesn't deserve this bad rating at all. The hostel has nice facilities, airco, good mattresses, a lot of space in the rooms and a spacious kitchen. It is located ver close to public transport, the free CAT bus and restaurants/pubs in Northbridge, which is a big advantage. All in all maybe not the best hostel ever, but definitely an okay place!

Disliked: Pots and pans are not of the best quality. Heard some of the rooms have no airconditioning, so guess you have to be a bit lucky with that.

Liked: Good kitchen and supermarket 5mins walk so can do own cooking. Aircon. Free lockers in room (as long as you have padlock), Good location - 5mins walk to perth train station and center of town.

Disliked: Not too friendly for solo traveler. Too many working staying here using it as cheap accommodation. 4 bed dorm only had local workers staying who were not interested in going out or site seeing. Had to ask to move rooms to try meet more people. Even the 6 bed dorm had 4 worker in the room. Not very clean. Rooms smelt a bit. Have to pay for internet. 3 dollars to 40mins. Wouldn't stay here again. Next time would stay in a hostel in Freemantal. Much nicer and more relaxed town by the sea, and can still travel to perth by train in 30mins for 3.80 dollars.

Liked: Location and common areas

Disliked: bedroon booked should be a 4bedroon, but there was 5 bedroon. The upper bed there's no stairs and a roomate almost broke his leg trying to climb to his bed las night, there's no air conditioning as described. kittchen we have to pay for catering, plate and a cup $20, the toilets are small and they don't look good, there's no facilities, everything is paid.

Disliked: room is dirty and theres no lift thus have to carry luggages up the staircases.

Liked: Clean and in good condition! Good group of people! You can have a lot of fun here, but they're also quite strict on the closing times for the courtyards so people can still get some sleep.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: The Hostel is near the City Center.

Disliked: - The Bed was very unconfortable - The Staff was unfriendly and laughs, if people don´t speak english very well - It was very loud from the courd (music and talking people) - no free internet - available internet was expensive - too expensive

Liked: My room was fine and I had my own bathroom.

Disliked: Lack of customer service. Permanent change of staff so no one knows who you are. Very expensive. Very noisy. Lots of disturbance at night: drunk people bangging on doors, fights, music.... No help with Tours. I was given a parcel and a letter but staff at Reception only gave them to me a day later which I was seriously angry about and they obviously couldn't care less. My bus driver to the airport on my last day called to say he would be late and then again, no one gave me the message when I wasonly waiting outside the door.

Liked: Great location, really just a few Minutes away from the city centre. The room size is quite big. Clean rooms and lobby. Two small gardens to sit outside open until 10.30 pm, sometimes 11 pm. Quiet nights, pleasant guests. Air con with heating function as it can get cold at night.

Disliked: The Kitchen was always greasy and dirty, although really big. As the hostel is in Northbridge it is not too safe. The room was big, but holes in the wall, no cupboard and one of the lights did not work. No shelf to put stuff on in the bathroom. No free Internet.

Liked: Close location to city, good hot powerful shower, Lots of storage space.

Disliked: Toilet never got cleaned, no soap in toilets, bedding left unchanged in rooms, some staff members could not be bothered.

Liked: Location, very close to city centre

Disliked: Found the staff to be a bit rude, there was a barage of noise from the outside area until 10:30pm, no key given to the room lockers, one of my rooms had 5 beds and a bit cramped.

Disliked: very expensive, bad quality for the price. In holland i would stay in a hotel incl breakfast for that kinda money. They tried to let us overpay by not accepting fee paid through hostelbookers.com

Disliked: The only thing i was concerned with was out side the room window i think there is a gas leak as i could smell it mostly at night...nto a good thing i wouldnt think

Liked: It's really close to the city-center. About 5 min. to walk. Hotellike doubleroom.

Disliked: Every night was other staff. It seems that everybody was new in the job. The hostel is near to perths nightlife, so on weekends there is loud music from backdoors.

Liked: Location is very central to the city and good proximity to available public transport. Felt reasonably safe in the room.

Disliked: Toilet dripped and ran constantly, had to turn water off to cistern. Fridge gave an almighty clunk every time it started, ended up turning it off to get some peace. Noise, alleyway next to window in room allowed lots of noise from garbage truck at 4am that was picking up.

Disliked: While the staff were very friendly when I could find them, they seemed to operate the front desk at very inconvenient hours which they didn't really stick to (ie. it was frequently closed when it was supposed to be open). Short staffed?

Liked: Hostel was clean and safe, and staff were helpful. Lockers were provided in dorms. There was a TV room, movie room and outdoor area where you could meet and socialise with fellow travelers. Location was excellent; within walking distance of Wellington Street bus and train stations, and all the best bars, pubs, restaurants in Northbridge.

Disliked: Laundry was expensive; $4 for washing machines and another $3 for dryer.

Liked: great location, helpful staff, clean, good sized ensuite room, just like a hotel.

Disliked: couple of cockroachs running around the room. now they are dead thanks to my boyfriends shoe.
