Liked: Two good things going for this place- $6 pint of beer (cheapest price in the city) and the $3 burger, salad and chips meal on a Thursday evening.

Disliked: Not the best hostel I have stayed in! Rooms, showers and kitchen are all really dirty. Most of the people staying there are staying long term and their belongings are all over the place in the rooms making it really messy. There is nearly always a long que to speak to the people behind the desk and it took us about 45 minutes just to check in.

Liked: Great look to the hostel and the location is great as its a 5 minute walk into the city centre. Rooms are huge and has lockers for every person staying the rooms. There's also a storage room too. Rooms are cleaned every morning which was needed as I was staying in what seemed to be the party room. Great vibe to the hostel and met some great people there.

Disliked: Staff were not the most helpful, when asking advise on how to get to the airport via public transport they didnt seem to have a clue. Pub was very dull for a friday and saturday night and expensive for drinks (for a hostel). Stayed in a room that was classed as the party room- great fun but if you actually wanted to sleep then I can image that being an issue. Otherwise great stay and good fun!

Liked: it's spacious and has great rec room.

Disliked: The toilet were always blocked. The shower pressure was very low and the hot water wasn't regulated well at all. I got burnt. The rooms stank. Actually i was very disgusted with the smell. The cleanliness left something to be desired. I doubt the rooms were cleaned the whole time i was there.

Liked: Near to the library and city One of the cheapest in Perth

Disliked: Very very disgusting smell in my room. It's even days later in my clothes. Very very big, so the Atmosphere isn't the best. Small rooms with loads of people. You've got to borough out everything for the kitchen at the Reception. Plus not clean, plus ugly .. you won't want to cook anything in the Kitchen

Liked: It is in Northbridge, so it is pretty close to the center.

Disliked: My bed was full of long black hair, the room stank, on the floor it smelled as if someone had spilled acid and in the rook next door were some drunk English idiots who yelled at each other all night and then even had a fight in their room and in the hallway, but nmoone from the hostel seemed to care - i guess it is Northbridge after all... walls are as thin as paper...

Liked: Location is about the best thing, bar isnt too expensive

Disliked: Rooms are tiny, only 2 showers for an entire corridor of guests and they are terrible, goes hot then cold etc. major building works happening across the road that dont look like finishing anytime soon, so if u plan to sleep anytime after 7am, dont stay here, the noise is crazy! there are much nicer places in the local area to stay for the same price. basically go elsewhere

Liked: Close to Perth CBD

Disliked: Not worth the money you pay for just a bed in a room. Bathroom and Showers are dirty. No Air Con in rooms which you need for a hot city like Perth.

Liked: Nice bar, free breakfast, good location

Disliked: Very rude customer service for one of the receptionist. And it was everyday so obviously she wasn't just having a bad day. Room was very hot and bed shaking a lot. Alcohol is not allowed.

Liked: You could meet so many new people who shares your interests, which often includes travelling and adventure

Liked: I didn't really like anything. Can't complain about the cleanliness of the place I suppose.

Disliked: I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful and it's so hot in the rooms that the windows are always open meaning that you wake up covered in mosquito bites.
