Disliked: everything. no hot water for a week, dirty, full of cockroaches, wi-fi doesnt work in rooms, kichen was dirty, washing/dryer machines were out of order,

Liked: The location, although the on street parking was difficult to understand and the desk staff were unable to help.

Disliked: The kitchen was really dirty, to me it looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in months. The floor was dirty and sticky, the table cloth was torn and patched with food lodged in the patch I think it's a health hazard. We found room 15 was clean and tidy but bedding is old and needs to be replaced and there was no towels in the room. I think you should remove the Shirslee Hostel from your website

Liked: breakfast included

Disliked: dirty, run down and way too expensive(that seems to be a general problem in perth). mice in the rooms, so they ask you not to keep any food in the rooms. sometimes they use some mousetraps and they have to cats, but that doesn't really help

Liked: The other guests, and the owner's daughter was helpful

Disliked: The owner is more interested in taking money than maintaining a decent hostel. It is filthy (+ mice), poorly maintained, poor security, poor value for money.

Disliked: everthing..its the worst filthiest place ive ever stayed in! i had to sleep in my clothes as bedding was a disgrace..i dont even want to mention it! checked out the next morning!

Liked: The mattress are new and the sheets clean.

Disliked: Attitude of the staff. Dirtyness of the place (Mouse in our room - very cute mouse but just shows how unclean the place is).

Liked: Quiet and good location

Disliked: The kitchen is very messy. You can't use pans or pots without having burning leftovers in you food. The kitchen, BBQ and reception area are smelling badly like trash. The Breakfast is counted. 1 Coffee, 2 Slices of Toast and 1 bowl of cereals. 3 times there was no butter and no milk. They've forgotten to buy some.... The ameneties were messy too. Looked like they just be cleand once in a week. !Caution! The 10 % deposit from hostelbookers will not offset the roomprice!

Liked: About half the hostel are residents, who are a friendly lot, but many travellers don't always like this. The rooms are a bit shabby (and blankets could do with a wash more often). Breakfast doesn't start till 9am, which is rather late and often runs out.
