BUS
Airport bus service meets all flights and serves the major hotels. Cost is about A$8. This is not a scheduled service so the bus may wait for one or two flights to arrive before leaving. The bus is cost effective but you may wait a while longer than if you took a taxi. Still, it's a good alternative if you are not pressed for time.
TAXI
The taxi is the best way to get to town. The fare is about A$16-20 and it is a short ride, about 15 minutes. Tipping is not essential, but will be well-appreciated when there has been an excellent service.

RENTAL CAR
When staying a few days or traveling to other areas, it would be wise to hire a car. Perth is served by Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty. The hostel staff can help you with bookings of rental cars.



From the City Train Station

The Shiralee is centrally located a 10 minutes walk north of Perth Train Station. Follow William Street north and turn right at Brisbane Street.
