Liked: Large, airy rooms with plenty of storage cool aircon. Friendly & welcoming atmosphere with well equipped kitchen & clean facilities.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The fact that it wasn't right in the center, only a few minutes walk to the CAT free bus. Everyone gets his one space to store their food in the fridge and cupboard.

Disliked: The fact we had to pay a deposit on your crockery and cutlery. A lot of people just seem to be living here rather than being travellers. They did clean everyday but other guest would not keep it very clean. Loud music after 10 pm

Liked: Location.

Disliked: Bathrooms aren't kept very clean: they are cleaned but not frequently enough to keep pace with the large number of people sharing them. Muddy footprints in shower each time I used it, almost constantly hair and whiskers In basin, bin overflowing with tissue paper much of the time, saw an enormous cockroach in hall outside bathroom on last night. Also was blood on toilet floor for a day or so.

Liked: Cleanliness was fine. Liked the outdoor area. Kitch was ok

Disliked: The bunk I was in squeaked every time you moved which was a bit much when trying to get to sleep. The climbing access was not user friendly......perhaps flat treads or something. Lounge was a bit TV powered which did not accommodate getting to chat to anyone.

Liked: A real Australien backpacker. Great kitchen facilities, lockers and drawzers in the room, very helpful and friendly staff, would definitely recommend this hostel

Disliked: a bit of a walk (6min to CAT bus) but it's all right, not dangerous or anything at all

Liked: The friendly atmosphere, the clean kichen with lots of cutlery and crockery, clean bathrooms

Disliked: the rooms are very small, food storage in the fridge was a bit limited and small, neither was it cleaned up properly.

Liked: Nice area, quite but close to Northbridge. Friendly helpful staff.

Disliked: Clean, but a little rundown in some areas.

Liked: Very little, in actual fact,nothing.

Disliked: We got there really late and no one was there to let us in, so we were stood outside for ages until so.e guests having a cigarette had to wake up a member of staff.

Liked: The staff and residents at the time were extremely helpful and friendly! Most of the residents were working so the nights were quiet, which allowed me to sort my jet lag which was much appreciated! Ideal for those who want a safe and secure place to stay, if you're looking for somewhere that's party central the witches hat wouldn't be for you!

Disliked: I arrived at 2am and had to make a series of phone calls outside before getting inside which was a pain. A better 24hr service needed.

Liked: very clean, few rooms for sleeping with several bathrooms. No annoy, at 10.30 pm everything was quite, excellent for sleeping after long tour days

Disliked: nothing, it is a mix between hotel and hostel. Perfect

Liked: Friendly staff, airconditioning which really worked (@ night)

Disliked: Usual Australian problem, that walls don't stop noises.

Disliked: poor air con, manager wasn't overly friendly and had to wait an hour in the heat to check in, the room was very dingy.

Disliked: distance from town, management did not keep a/c on all day despite being 40+ degrees

Liked: Kitchen was kept quite clean, staff was flexible and listened and tried to fill wishes.

Disliked: Toilets were not kept so clean, and example toilet paper was left outside its holder. It's not a rocket science..

Liked: Free upgrade to double room when the booking went wrong.

Disliked: Loud music after 10p.m., dirty bathroom, had to wait 1 and a half hours to check in.

Liked: Everything was clean and people who stayed there cleaned after themselves. Kitchen was opened all night long. The hostel was not too big and that made it conferdable.

Disliked: It was a little bit far from the city centre. Rooms did not have windows to outside.

Liked: Loved the comfy beds and the atmosphere of the place. It was like a big happy family. 5 mins walk from the free blue cat bus and the staff are all friendly.

Disliked: Bit grubby round the edges. Mainly due to alot of longtermers particularly the boys who don't clean their dishes. If you tell the staff though that something needs cleaned like the showers or your room they do get it done for you.

Liked: It is a queit residential area and a Asian Grocery shop is just opposite of this hostel. It is very convenient.

Disliked: The twin bed room came without TV. There was a bit noisy at night. No private heater at the room and felt very cold.

Liked: Very friendly staff willing to help all the time. Sociable atmosphere. The price had changed since we booked but, in an act of pure generosity, the owner allowed us to pay the previous cheaper rates.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
