Liked: Helpfull staff even though we arrived in the small hours of the morning! Comfortable beds and clean sheets, close to the nightlife in Northbridge and free bus

Disliked: Loud annoying land lady/woman in the morning both mornings was pretty annoying!!Think she was the supervisor ordering the cleaning lady around??

Liked: Nice courtyard to meet people, drink oder eat. Quite Time at 10.00 was good. It's located in Northbridge, a 15 min Walk to the center.

Liked: The location was great and the dvd room nice to relax in. the tour desk was also fab and helpful staff. although the usual clicky crew would make noise until quite late which was a shame

Liked: Friendly service, but that you'll got no key for your room was very surprisingly and not what I expected!!! And other customers had "ruined" the clean bathroom, sorry for that but customers should be told/teached to look by themselves for cleanliness, not just to wait for someone of the stuff to clean it up...Despite this two negative facts: great stay in Perth

Liked: very friendly people nice and clean in the kitchen and bathrooms. Few minutes walk to the free bus service which will take you all round town

Liked: We rocked in without much planned for Perth but very friendly staff got us all organised. It's not right in the city, but neither is much else.Comfortable accom, would recommend.

Liked: Extremely friendly hostel with every amenity you could want. You get your own fridge space, food space and a large kitchen. The internet is fast and you can either use their computers or a laptop. There is a good TV lounge and also courtyard. It only takes 20 minutes to walk into town so although the location is not central this isn't an issue. They also offer great travel advice to help you plan your trip in the region. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Liked: The typical aussie hostel, obviously aimed at gap year travellers cause there's signs EVERYWHERE with instructions for the simplest tasks.

Liked: The room was aged and wasn't warm at night. And the location is not near city centre. Wireless internet was $3/hour - that's not expensive in Perth - and it is only available around common room.

Liked: Quite obviously Wich's Hat is a professionaly run outfit that understands the nature of the hospitality business and customer target group.Clearly the service ethic is one of it's primary aims. If you have special needs and the management feels they can assist, then they will do so as they did for me.I've been just about everywhere on the backpackers trail since about 1968 and know the difference between a rough, OKis, Modest, good and excellent Backpackers. The Witch's is well into the last of these catagorese.Sincerely, Graham G. Mills

Liked: I enjoyed my stay at the Witch's Hat. The facilities were superb. I mostly liked the 10.30pm curfew because then I could get some sleep. If you are a party animal, this is not an ideal place for you.

Liked: The cleanest and best run hostel I've stayed in so far on a 2 month trip round Oz, certainly head and shoulders above others in Northbridge with big rooms and social areas as well as a postcard frontage. On the downside its a little further from the party both literally and figuratively being a few more streets from the main drag than most of the others and enforcing a lights-out at 10:30 policy.

Liked: Really nice hostel! Everything is organized really good. The kitchen has a lot of cooking utensils so you can cook every meal you like. You have your own board to store your food. TV room en place outside are nice to hang out. Building is very charistic:D We like:D

Liked: Everything, when you first arrive its lovely as it looks like a normal house which makes you fell a little bit more at home, The hostel is very clean, location wise its not bad about a 10-15min walk tp centre, There are seperate lockers & food huts put aside for each bed and there is a seperate fridge shelf for each room.Really nice lounge to relax in and watch dvd's/tv.They will also bok your trips and give valuable info on each trip.I would definitely stay here again.
