Liked: There was some misunderstanding about the tour booking but was soon solved by the manager. Neil was very helpful and the staffs at the reception are quite patient and helpful too.

Disliked: The kitchen was a bit oily and things were a bit disorganised. It was quite hard to the use the matches to turn the stove on - a bit dangerous.

Liked: Cheap option for Australia. Enough and clean room.

Disliked: Small and dirty shared toilets. Little far away to city center and services.

Liked: with a platform that people can post their opions with hostel they stayed,their opions are some good reference for people to choose a hostel they like

Liked: I love kitchen area and swimming pool, staffs are very nice.

Disliked: location is a little far away from city, if I go out have gathering with other friends in city, I must leave early.

Liked: Good facilities, kitchen , lounges with DVD library, swimming pool ( yes really!), laundry. Small dorms, good level of cleanliness.Altho 15 mins walk form Perth CBD - there is a free service bus which runs back and to every 15 minutes or so,thus no problem whatsoever, Area around hostel very nice with good public parks etc.Staff on the desk were excellent - especially Neal - but to all of them, nothing was a problem.

Disliked: Some petty rules, whilst I was there the "management"( I assume not the friendly desk staff) had a thing about some people "not washing up" so EVERYONE was issued their own dishes and cutlery with a threat of not returning deposits if they were not returned clean.Duh! Why penalise everybody instead of sorting out the culprits?? Oh and the free breakfast was stopped mid stay.

Liked: Impeccably clean hostel from top to bottom, friendly staff and very comfortable twin room

Disliked: Bit of a walk from the centre, but transport is easily accessible

Liked: The staff made the stay very comfortable, very helpful. Transport to the city is at least a 10-15 minute walk away, apart from that would highly recommend.

Liked: Location close to Leederville, free bus into the city, good breakfast

Disliked: Bathrooms are mouldy and filthy and there is a general lack of cleaning. Therefore, it looks quite run down.

Liked: got to walk to the bus stop and catch a bus to city centre...but the bus is free...so its not compensates to the fact that this place is further a bit from the city centre

Disliked: detached from the room.

Liked: Location is very handy to the city with bus stop aprox four minutes walk.Pleasant suroundings within the grounds, good car parking ect.Staff friendly and more than helpfull.Kitchen and bathrooms were kept clean and tidy, compared to other hostels in Perth.

Disliked: The room was quiet musty from being damp at some time past. Mattress was very ordinary needs replacing.

Liked: Very close to the city in a nice quite street.

Disliked: only one negative is that the pool table and one of the tv rooms wasnt working other than that it was great.

Liked: If, like me, you do not want to be ontop of the party scene in Perth but still a stones throw away(i must add perfect for transport options to/from the City) this is a great option. The only thing this hostel lacks is Lockers in the rooms, if this were done it would rate even higher. Comfortable and affordable and great staff.
