Liked: extremely short walk from the bus station. Even shorter walk to the liquor store (its literally across the street). beach is close. Saw a wild cassowary. Kitchen very well equipped. Pool is awesome. Skydiving picks u up from the hostel. ac in room was nice. Free water bottle with 3 night stay.

Disliked: lots of bugs in the halls but they don't bother u. none in room which was good. room was kinda cramped.

Liked: The staff are really friendly and will help you out with almost anything. The free BBQ on Saturday was great and the free shuttle buses to north mission are good too. The place is very clean an tidy, the facilities are very good and it is very close to both Woolworth and the beach. Only downside is the pool table isn't free and the Internet is expensive. Other than that a great hostel worth every penny!!

Liked: Very nice and friendly staff, there is always something to do at night, it is clean and the location is good.

Disliked: I missed a warm blanket! But that's not really an issue.

Liked: Lovely clean hostel, can tell owners really take pride in its upkeep! Free BBQ was lovely! Staff very friendly and helpful aswell really enjoyed our stay!

Liked: Very clean, and the best kitchen facilities I have ever seen. The beds were really comfortable.

Liked: Bathrooms and kitchen extremely clean. Set in nice gardens and close to beach, greyhound stop and Woolworths!

Disliked: No lockers in room, no locks on french doors in the dorm rooms. Wasn't allowed food or drinks in the TV room - was a bit of a pain as would have liked a beer whilst watching the world cup!!

Liked: Friendly staff, they even pick you up from the Greyhound stop even through you can see the hostel from the bus stop! Clean bathroom, and nice rooms.

Liked: Very clean and the kitchen was excellent. All good although the air con in the rooms was terrible. Got about 2 hours sleep as was so hot. Overall decent value, although if you don't want to sky dive Mission Beach doesn't have much.

Liked: Not value for money like most places in OZ - and internet is horrendously expensive.But great location, lovely beach, lots to do. Just buy food in bulk at local Woolworths and enjoy the downtime in between the experiences (expect to spend lots!)

Liked: Beautiful premises, with swimming pool. And it was conveniently located 1 min. near the bus-stop, 5 min. from the beach and 5 min. from a big supermarket. The computer/internet room and TV/DVD room were good too. Only downside was that the toilets&showers were located a bit far from the rooms, and that the stoves in the kitchen didn't work properly. The kitchen itself was otherwise great, with lots of facilities AND it was big enough for the amount of people staying in the hostel for a change - not way overcrowded like in most hostels.

Liked: Nice place to stay, great location, close to the coach stop, bottleshop on the other side of the road, beach just 500m down the road, and safeway also close by.Huge rooms, with single beds instead of bunk beds(!), a small pool, huge kitchen and a nice garden .. so nothing to complain about.

Liked: The staf really puts effort in making the guests feel at home. There are heaps of activities organized every day. Especially the saturdaynight Free BBQ! Fun place to meet fellow-travellers. Also clean place, goods facilities and huge kitchen! One little drawback, foamy matress in our double room (Room #D2), however it seems that the Dorms were better equiped.
