We are the only hostel accommodation right in the centre of town, which provides you with the most convenient access to all shops in the beachside village. A supermarket, restaurants, bars, takeaways, post office, news agency, and souvenirs all right next door. In other words, no waiting for courtesy buses—you can walk to everything.

Mission Beach is surrounded by Wet Tropics World Heritage rainforest, and flanked by a long golden beach. There are numerous walking tracks through the rainforest, where you can explore the region and maybe even sight an endangered Southern Cassowary.

Luscious rainforest, a fishing jetty, secluded beaches, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, and coconut eating are all within walking distance of Mission Beach Retreat.

But if relaxing is more your style, then you need not worry. You could spend a lifetime- in fact, some have - just lazing on the beach, occasionally taking a dip in the pool, and soaking up the sensual, tropical lifestyle. Accommodation Information

Spacious 4 and 9 bed dorms, and comfortable twin and double rooms. Having only 30 beds means everyone has their own space and bathrooms are easily accessible.
