Liked: Nice relaxed atmosphere, easy to meet people and have fun. St Kilda is an interesting place to be.

Liked: Close to the beach & Luna Park. Only 15min tram ride into the city or $20 cab fee. Stayed in a private room which was very clean & well kept, friendly staff & great area in general.

Disliked: John left no negative feedback.

Liked: Good location in St Kilda, close to transport to get to the CBD. Really helpful travel desk who we booked a couple of trips with. Friendly people. Bathrooms really clean and showers good, Nice communal area and free breakfast and Tea and Coffee was brilliant.

Disliked: Really small rooms, not much room to store luggage and as a consequence an 8 bed girls dorm was pretty crowded due to the sheer volume of belongings. Also no bar/cafe/restaurant

Disliked: Hard to meet people outside of the room as they are all settled Into groups as they have been here for a while!

Liked: comfy beds and free barbecue very friendly and helpful staff member Katie at reception

Disliked: bathrooms could have been cleaner, maybe better to clean twice a day for such a big hostel breakfast was gone at 9:45, should be available until 10am, especially when people returned late from St Kilda Internet should be free or at least more than 1h free, for guests staying longer than 1 night

Liked: Most things. Responsive, lovely staff. Great vibe. Car park. Meticulous cleaning.

Disliked: Odd choice of blastering music on top of the volume at 3-5 AM, by the STAFF. Possibly dust mites as I am allergic to them and I'm getting reactions. Fridge difficult to navigate and often food disppear.

Liked: Overall an excellent hostel. They offer a lot of activities in the evenings and group experiences. The hostel is fully equipped with a large kitchen, laundry, pool table, vending machines, many internet booths, lounge area etc. The rooms are relatively large, and there are enough bathrooms that you don't have to wait for a shower.

Disliked: They could increase the amount of space available for the luggage room as well as tidy this up a little.

Liked: Security was really good. Names are checked at the door after ten.

Disliked: the six dorm that I was in was a bit cramped especially with everyones suitcases. Four would have been better considering we were paying more.

Liked: They check the names on a list for entry in the hostel after 10pm so u feel quiet safe! great atmosphere in the lobby

Liked: Located close to st Kilda beach and not far on tram for the city. Nice events organized for each day with big space to interact.

Disliked: In night became too loud on one of the days.but only one ,may be of the type Of people checked in for that night

Liked: Security is huge here - cameras everwhere, need a keycard to get onto your level and again your room. After 10 or 11 pm front door locks and you need to provide your name and room number to get in. They have lockable cubbies so I could actually unpack! Soap in the bathrooms - bathrooms are really nice! the whole place is cleaned daily, it's insane. Staff were ultra friendly - recommend Chuck's city tour AND his pub crawl. They let you play your mp3 player over the pa, guitars provided free of charge. Atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely not aimed at being a party hostel (though you can certainly party while staying here). Really good spot - met awesome people.

Disliked: My room smelled of feet/body odor every morning - even after cleaning. About a 15-20 minute tram ride to the Melbourne CBD but St. Kilda is good enough if you don't want to end the night at 11:30(last tram ride)

Disliked: Location. Its far from the CBD so if youre wanting to be in the CBD every day or night in melb, its better to stay closer to the CBD
