Melbourne Central YHA

Melbourne Central YHA is an exciting new backpackers' hostel in Melbourne's vibrant CBD - close to all of Melbourne's best events including The Spring Racing Carnival, Summer Festivals, Grand Prix and Australian Open Tennis. Plus, walking distance to Yarra River, Federation Square, ACMI and Melbourne Aquarium.

Hostel facilities include a tour desk for local and interstate travel, plus a high-speed YHAConnect Internet Cafe with skype and WiFi throughout the hostel, flat-screen TVs and electronic door locks.

The hostel has an eclectic bar (Bertha Brown) on the ground floor which serves tasty affordable meals, plus coffees, cocktails and a range of beers. Great deals for YHA guests, including 2-4-1 pub deals most days of the week.

The hostel is ideally located close to public transport making it easy to get around the city. We are only 900m from Southern Cross Station - Melbourne's main arrival point for regional and interstate buses, trains and airport shuttle buses.

There is a FREE city circle tram that operates in the CBD with a stop directly in front of the hostel - now that's convenience! A FREE Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle bus also operates in the CBD and the closest stop is just 5 minutes walk.
