Customer reviewAcross the road from St Kildas main tram stop to the city so plenty of trams, short walk to beach, Chapel St, Albert Park. Free Breakfast and $6 evening meals in the bar and drinks discounts. And great staff! |

Jared Taskergood young crowd, everyone seems honest and trustworthy even though there are no safes in the room or at reception... breaky is good, pub is good, plenty of choices for beer! relatively easy to get the tram into the city/st kilda beach etc, tho takes time... taxi is relatively cheap back from the city/richmond/prahn after a bender! |

Customer reviewGood location right next to the tram stop St. Kilda Junction, maybe 15 minutes tram ride from the city. Room for two people was tidy, no wardrobe but a sink and the carpet was clean. Bed very comfy and nice sheets. Breakfast was included, they had toast with jelly, cornflakes, coffee and tea. I can recommend it. |

Customer reviewService could have been better, but also I found there to be no atmosphere in the place. I wouldn't really describe it as a hostel, more like a pub with rooms! |

Sathi MosesThe bed and TV in the room were the best items of the stay! Location was bad as regards to public Transport as I had to catch buses to get to tram routes! No soap or handwash in the toilets was my main gripe, as this was not at all hygenic! Also no cofee making facilities at all on the 1st floor or ground floor, and I had to climb all those hard steps to the 2nd floor to get hot water from the urn, and then there was no milk for cofee ior tea any way! Also no cheap take away food places any where near the hotel, and if you miss the 6PM meal at the pub then you have to more or less starve or pay huge price for any take awy food from the nearby Pizza place or the Indian take away joint! I wull not be back to Pint on Punt any time soon uin a hurry! Still, for young people who can stand the stairs it should afford a cheap place. It seems to be quite a safe place and the staff seem to be quite friendly and helpful. |

Vincent ForresterThe hostel itself was fairly clean and comfortable, although the kitchen was very small and had no toaster and no oven, only a hob, a toastie maker and a microwave. There were virtually no utensils available (I had to persuade the staff downstairs in the bar to let me use a tin opener, and even then I had to hand my can to the chef, in his kitchen, where he opened it for me), and the place was clearly organised so that people would spend more money ordering meals from the pub (which looked good actually, though I never had one). The service was pretty poor really, and it didn't seem like the staff in the pub (from where the operation upstairs was run - the hostel reception was only open from 8am - 12 noon) really cared much about the people upstairs. Very disappointing. |
