Chris OliverGreat communal kitchen area and terrace. Staff at reception were very helpful but not always there. A lot of long term guests. The location is fantastic for the city. Would definitely recommend. |

Customer reviewEvery thing is old but in excellent condition. Staffs in office-hour are friendly but late check-in is really troublesome. Contact the housekeeper by PHONE prior to your arrival if you have to check-in late, otherwise, break-in through the back-door on the 2nd floor and ask for help! |

Customer reviewWas good value for money and within 10 minutes walk of Southern Cross station (useful for the skylink bus to the airport). Also only about 5 mins from a city circle tram stop. Seemed to have quite a few long stayers there, but everyone was nice. |

Camilla OdlingThis is one of the best hostels we've stayed at during our Australia trip! The athmosphere is awesome and the people we met there are the best! This definately makes up for the pretty old and sometimes cold building. We stayed for over 5 weeks and now when we've left it we just wanna go back. If we ever travel to Melbourne again - this is where we'll stay! |

Thomas MaynardThe location of this hostel was great, only a few blocks walk from the airport shuttle drop-off point. It seemed like a lot of the guests were there fairly long term though. When we went they we doing up the roof terrace which looks like it will be very nice when they have finished. |
