Disliked: Cozy and clean is certainly not the case - it was rather dirty, with bed bugs in some of the beds, I am covered with spider bites, cockroaches were crawling around...

Disliked: they should probably provide safes or lockers for valuables to be stored in & at least fans in the rooms for the really hot days, it was 35 degrees plus and we didn't even have a fan let alone air conditioning

Liked: Great clean place to rest your head after a big night. Really great location to transport and so close to catch teh skybuss to the Airport

Disliked: If your looking for a place to have a night party at the hostel prob wouldnt be my first choice.

Liked: Friendly staff and other guests. Short walk to free tram. Laidback hostel. Really good price. Cheap internet access: wifi and computers available. We were able to leave our bags in the office for free on the day we left as we had a late flight.

Disliked: Kitchen and bathrooms weren't super clean, and the fridge smelt pretty awful. One morning I couldnt have a coffee cos there were no cups! (most of the long termers who stayed there had their own!). Room faced a busy street, so take earplugs!!

Liked: Good staff, never had a problem getting an open shower, not too far from the center, lucked out with decent roommates.

Disliked: My room faced a busy street, so noise was a bit of an issue.

Liked: I loved the overall feel of this hostel. The enviorment was very good. Fun and easy going. It was a block from the free City circle tram. Which brought me to most places i wanted to visit while in the city. I would have stayed here long term if i was staying in Melbourne to work.

Disliked: The kitchen Closed at 11 pm which made late night snack hard.

Liked: nice double room for holiday and pretty cheap compared with others

Disliked: i was shock when i went to toilet in the ensuit room! the toilet wasnt flash and with hair inside the shower room still had a soap inside looked wasnt clean at all :(

Liked: nothing to like, location thats about it.

Disliked: Lots the people staying, they were French in fact most people there were and they sat around the hostel all day and night getting high, they left the door open all day every day after being told to keep it locked. The room stank, I would have left earlier had I not already paid, the kitchen was rank, not enough toilets and they were rank too.

Liked: Good location, clean rooms and linen.

Disliked: Shabby, old, had to track down manager when we arrived late at night, no secure place to leave bags, shower didn't work properly, only one female shower and one male shower for all the rooms.

Liked: Awesome staff, quite clean, location not too far as some other comments lead you to believe (read: location OK)

Disliked: No free wireless (although available if pay); gets a bit noisy late at night with the parties going on up on the kitchen balcony

Disliked: The room was a tip as the people staying there were irresponible and selfish. I had my bed stolen and couldn't find another free one because of all the crap put on top of it made it look occupied.

Liked: The old Pubhouse in which the Hostel is located is very charming. From the rooftop you have a wonderful view over the Docklands. The bar downstairs makes it easy to get your drunk ass somehow back in your bed without too much trouble ;) The staff was also very helpful and amazingly friendly. Oh yeah, and there was the free coffee and free milk for your coffee.

Disliked: The kitchen is not too well equipped and you could not use the teatowels as they were smelling strange.
