Liked: The staff was friendly enough.

Disliked: The place is in need of serious renovation. It was in a remote and seedy section of the city. The place was just generally pretty dark and sad.

Liked: I really enjoyed this hostel! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the kitchen is big and beautiful, with a huge balcony and a great view of the city! The location is great too, just a few minutes walking from the free tram to the city and from Southern Cross Train Station. The price is very good too! I would definitely recommend it!

Liked: this hostel is SOOOO many blocks away from the main area. At first it seems okay, but then it really kills your feet. seriously. you can find something better and more close to the main area.and no internet. still. good place to meet people, party every day at the kitchen upstairs! nice staff. but sometimes they aren't there so you just have to wait.. never know for how long though!

Liked: The Bathroom and toilet are so clean. that's the best thing. but the music from downstairs is a bit loud on thur night. But overall are alright.

Liked: Bit of a walk to the city but also kinda nice to have a great view of the city from the top floor. This place was generally pretty good on all accounts... nothing outstanding but nothing horrible either.

Liked: Great communal kitchen area and terrace. Staff at reception were very helpful but not always there. A lot of long term guests. The location is fantastic for the city. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: Every thing is old but in excellent condition. Staffs in office-hour are friendly but late check-in is really troublesome. Contact the housekeeper by PHONE prior to your arrival if you have to check-in late, otherwise, break-in through the back-door on the 2nd floor and ask for help!

Liked: Located 10 mins walk from trainstation Southern Cross. Ok place to stay, not brilliant hostel, just ok. Rooms are little bit small..

Liked: Was good value for money and within 10 minutes walk of Southern Cross station (useful for the skylink bus to the airport). Also only about 5 mins from a city circle tram stop. Seemed to have quite a few long stayers there, but everyone was nice.
