Liked: Free towel. Clean bathrooms. Can checkin very late. Free toast and cereal breakfast. Great travel booking desk in hostel. Cheap beer in bar, compared to surrounding bars. Great location. 15min walk to central square.

Disliked: Big hostel so bit harder to make friends. Some long term guest using it for cheap accommodation but they were still friendly.

Liked: 4 bed dorms give you more space and privacy

Disliked: shared facilities way too small for number of guests - especially the kitchen. Extended breakfast times should be used to prevent it being rammed at 9am.

Liked: Nice clean white sheets and towels. Clean bathroom facilities. Good breakfast served. Nice clean rooms, with personal lockers with powerpoint inside.

Disliked: Busy kitchen where there could have been a few more pots and pans and stoves, compared to the number of people who were staying there. Noisy dinner area. Noisy rooms (either from the air conditioning or from the traffic on the street outside).

Liked: Free food! Talk about a great way to cut down on expenses. Also, great atmosphere! May be a little less flash than some others in Melbourne, but its much friendlier and more communal than other hostels around, the bar is a big draw. Lastly, very secure, you can't even use the elevator without a keycard.

Disliked: Internet is way too expensive, luckily there is a McDonalds with free wifi across the road because I would never pay $4 an hour. Location is a bit out of the way, but is serviced by a tram so it only takes a few minutes to get into the CBD. Kitchen could use some work, overall though, this place is really good.

Liked: Decent size rooms with good lockers, good internet cafe and sh, ower facillities.

Disliked: Very noisy at night time, breakfast a bit of a free for all with so many people.

Liked: The bar had a great atmosphere - really easy to meet people if travelling alone. The bathrooms were also really clean and i never had to wait to use a shower - also the showers themselves were really good!

Disliked: Its a little bit of a walk to get into the city.

Disliked: If you need a quiet place, that´s is not the place to go

Liked: The cleanliness of the bedroom is quite good and the location is very good in relation to the landmarks of the city

Disliked: I think we should improve the cleanliness in the bathrooms and the kitchen and should do more often, especially in bathrooms. And the kitchen staff should be more proactive and careful with the cleanliness of the tables where you eat, are always dirty.

Liked: Really nice place and staff were brilliant. Free pasta is a great idea and there was something planned for each evening.

Disliked: It's a little way out of the centre but not too far and everything else about the hostel made up for that.

Liked: It's very clean and nice, very safe and the rooms are just great.

Disliked: The kitchen had cooking plates that sometimes turned off out of their own accord, when they got too hot and the kitchen is a bit cramped even though it's quite a large kitchen. Perhaps a second kitchen would be a good idea.

Liked: Clean and spacious 4 bed dorm room.Facilities are maintained well, everything is clean and works. It's a great place to meet new people - if you are looking for a nice quiet place might not be the right thing.

Disliked: Staff was very friendly but not really helpful.

Liked: Free breakfast, huge lockers in the rooms with plug-ins inside them, very clean, helpful staff, good location, very safe.

Disliked: Kitchen setup makes it feel very cramped all the time, no main lounge area--just small lounge areas on each floor.

Liked: A very clean, secure hostel (Couldn't even use the lifts without a pass). Friendly helpful staff and nice comfortable rooms. Big lockers in rooms with power point, very useful. Good included breakfast. Good shops nearby.

Disliked: Nothing really. Some might mind the short walk into the city, but I didn't.

Liked: It is clean.

Disliked: The location is not really good. It is quite far from train station. It would be good for you if you go casino everyday. There is a bar on the gound floor. Many people smoked outside the main entrance! We had to pass through the smoky people and door when we returned at night!

Liked: Good size hostel with lots of space to chill out, 4 bed dorms and storage space is a big plus. Good range of weekly activities and a bar on site.

Disliked: Dislike how there prices change so much, as good as the place is $50 is not worth it just because there's a horse race in town!

Liked: Very good location for most attractions. Sport on big screen was decent.

Liked: Very central, bathrooms cleaned reguallary, friendly staff and cheap bar.

Disliked: take your own pillow! The ones supplied are so thin they might aswell not be there.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, lot of activities every night. Free breakfast, and pasta was great! Better then in other hostels! Place is safe! Nice to have a locker with a power point en no more then 4 people per room!

Disliked: Bathroom wasn't always clean. And location could be better, it's a long walk to the CBD. One lady of the staff was not that friendly, always looking angry. Rest of the staff was great!
