Liked: Good location, being a short walk from Southbank and the Southern Cross station. The building is very secure (CCTV/ need your door pass to operate the lift etc) . The room are nice and big also.Only minor annoyances were the lockers only taking very small (i.e luggage) size padlocks and the toilets/showers on my floor being closed the entire week for decorating. Though I never saw/heard any workmen.

Liked: Really clean, a lot of service offered for free, free breakfast...So far the best hostel I've been in.

Liked: The location was the biggest plus, right in the city, close to the tram stop, and a nice jog to Albert park (great for running). 4 bed (ensuite) was great (especially if you ahve respectful roomates), breakfast was awesome, lots of activity in the evening on the ground floor, and quieter upstairs. Cool hostel, reminds me of the dorms in college. Enjoy!

Liked: Awesome place to stay in Melbourne. Its the little things like a locker, own kitchen and even a light per bed rather than per room that count. I'd definately stay here again!Kerrie, Perth!

Liked: I like the place, because I met lots of young people there. I hope the kitchen can be much more clean. And the condition should not allow strangers enter consumers' own room.

Liked: Centrally located, friendly staff. Could be noisy in the nights as some tenants turn the dorms into party rooms.

Liked: Dorms were big enough and clean (and aircon!). linen looked new. UC has many (clean) bath-facilities.the kitchen was more or less clean (they clean ist and the guests ruin it) and needs a bit more of plates, knives and pans....you have to "fight" for space in there and for the things......but you get the free rice and pasta, tea , coffee and milk, so what?!
