Liked: Nice and close to town and galleries, big spacious room, very helpful staff, free parking (but see below), basic but generous breakfast (choice of 2 cereals and toast with jam etc), nice bar, VERY secure!

Disliked: There was car parking but we had to give the reception our car key in case the car needed to be moved and there didn't seem to be a secure system for giving you your key bac, you just asked and they didn't ask me for any id! Also not sure whether the hire company would have liked it! Room was huge with lots of storage etc but our window was jammed slightly open which meant it was cold and quite noisy from the road outside :(

Liked: This was my first hostel in Australia and it was amazing, I literally cannot fault it. It had a really good vibe, everyone was very friendly and it was such good value. Everywhere was spotless, the kitchens are constantly being cleaned. The free rice, pasta, tea and coffee certainly helps a tight budget. Location was handy, very close to a tram line and to the trendy south bank. The bar was convenient with cheap deals. It shuts at midnight so its good if you wanna have a drink but still feel refreshed the next day. It's not a rowdy place but close enough to places if you wanted a party atmosphere. Great for loan travellers as its easy to feel at home!!

Disliked: Fantastic place, nothing bad to comment.

Liked: the atmosphere was great. a lot of young people very nice and friendly. everything was very clean and the room very simple but very nice and confy!!!wonderful

Liked: Property was in a good location just out of the city centre. Nice, big and airy entrance and good size elevators.

Disliked: Was on the 3rd floor which was felt very cold to walk around ... no heating?? And the place felt soul-less with its boring white walls. Kinda like a hospital. And the lights were always dimmed. How depressing.

Liked: Convenient location, near to city n supermarket. Staff is helpful. Ensuite toilet was above expectation.

Disliked: Breakfast range was limited, room cleaning service was done in a rush, but overall experience was good.

Liked: Great place, the bar is friendly and a great oppurtunity to meet people from other parts of the world.

Disliked: The showers are a bit hit and miss with flow and availablity of hot water.

Liked: The kitchen was very good equipped and big. The bath was new and very clean. I enjoyed my stay! happy hour is worth! ;-)

Liked: I stayed in a double room with my boyfriend - it was very clean, new and nice, better than some hotels I have stayed in. It was great that breakfast was provided (basic cereals, toast and juice). Located within an easy walking distance to the Crown Casino complex and the river.

Disliked: Price per night seemed a bit high for a hostel, but it was on par with prices at similar standard Melbourne backpackers.

Liked: The hostel is very close to the casino and not far away from the city. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Brekafast was included. The price we paid was quiet high, but so was the standard, so no complaints there.
