Liked: The bar was good, clean rooms

Disliked: No mirrors in shower area, not much space to store things. We locked our door before leaving and when we got back our door was open and heater was off

Disliked: The bathrooms were a bit dirty and small so you can't do makeup, brush teeth etc.

Liked: I LOVE honestly everything about this property that I have reccomended it to everyone I've met, all my friends in Sydney and I decided to make it my permanent residence. I love the atmosphere, the friendly people, conversing with people for numerous countryies on a daily basis, the bar, the convenience of being a 20 minute walk to work (Docklands), 5 minute walk to Victoria State Library and Central Station Shopping centre (Swanston St) as well as DFO, Queen Victoria Markets and King St. also being a 5 minute walk away in the opposite direction. Definently better than any hotel I've ever stayed at hands down, everyday my favourite part is going home to the hostel.

Disliked: The room was hot (it was April so who knows how bad it would have been in January), kept up by party (probably a plus to younger travellers) fire doors on all floors kept propped open.

Disliked: So many backpacker but the kitchen is tiny, sink is full of dishes no one wash can't barely cook

Disliked: small kitchen (acknowledgement by the premise that it is small does not make a difference), quite noisy ie noise coming from other rooms/bar, really strict check-in/check out times ie you get fined $2-10 for staying an hour longer! almost too big...

Liked: Location, staff were very helpful, the bar and social area were great.

Disliked: The kitchen is WAY to small for the amount of guests it can accommodate. It's ridiculous. And not enough fridge space. I know backpackers like to drink but they also look to eat so the bar could have been smaller to allow for a bigger kitchen.

Disliked: 5 dollars to rent a towel, too expensive from my point of view!! and kitchen is far too small

Liked: I liked that it was only a 15 minute walk from Southern Cross Train station. That was with a rolling suitcase. Very easy to find!

Disliked: first day: price was rather high for a room, which hadn't been cleaned and a dirty blanket. the receptionist didn't really know anything about the hostel or surroundings. second day however: room was vacuumed and another receptionist was very helpful.

Liked: I was really pleased by the low low price of the accommodation at Nomads during my stay in Melbourne, the staff were friendly my roomies lovely and the location an easy walk into the city!

Liked: its location is ideal for CBD, Docklands and really near a cute little park to pan out in during the day nursing hangovers or just chilling out. hostel is really clean and well kept. its great being able to cook own meal and cheap meals as aldi just five min walk away. most of the staff could not be more helpful and lovely, like really merry, enthusiastic and pleasant...but like anywhere you're not going to love everyone you meet!!in general though staff are dotes.

Disliked: the beds are so squeaky...literally moving a toe and the whole thing squeaks and shakes really loudly. its a bit overpriced but then i was staying when tenis open and also around australia day - so everywhere wass expensive. also you have to pay for internet - $20 for 3 days unlimited access.

Liked: atmosphere was good, meet couple of new friends there, lol, location was not bad at all.

Disliked: Kichen is too small for such a big backpacker, no soap in the bathroom

Liked: the friendly atmosphere and the helpful staff, I have never stayed at a backpacker before so had no idea what to expect. I really enjoyed the stay and am going to use it regularly while I'm studying instead of travelling.
