Melbourne Metro YHA is a modern hostel located on the city fringe in North Melbourne. Situated in a residential street, you can expect the hostel to be quieter than the CBD, but still close enough to walk to all the major attractions – the best of both worlds!

Location Information

Melbourne Metro is located on Howard Street in leafy North Melbourne. It's an easy walk into the CBD, or the tram is at the end of the street which takes you straight into the city.

Errol Street is close by to the hostel, which has everything you need including supermarket, chemist, cafes and restaurants. The Queen Victoria Market is also just around the corner, and a must see for anyone visiting Melbourne. Other major attractions include the Melbourne Zoo, Federation Square, Melbourne Aquarium, ACMI, MCG, Docklands and more. Plus there are endless hidden laneways, cafes, bars and restaurants.

The friendly staff at Melbourne Metro YHA will be able to assist you with getting around Melbourne, and you can even buy your public transport tickets at the hostel. You'll also receive a free Melbourne map on arrival so you won't get lost exploring this beautiful city.
