Liked: Really weird (but funny) place. There is more nightlife than daylife there and everynight someone gets really drunk in the lounge...The kitchen it´s closed at 10pm (bad) but Internet was fast and free... The place needs some restoration and cleaning.Gretel (the recepcionist) was great!

Liked: Pat, who runs the Lodge, is awesome. He's really friendly and incredibly helpful. All the people I shared a room with were also incredibly sweet and I never found myself having to wait for a shower.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful (despite taking a couple of days to fix our dodgy door). Close to tram stops and a short walk to St Kilda.

Liked: I was in melbourne for the PTAA tattoo convention, and i really enjoyed my stay! The atmosphere and residents was friendly and made my stay very comfortable. I would definatley recommend this lodge to friends, and would stay with you again!

Liked: The owner Pat is great, very accomodating, helpful, and really tries to make the hostel feel like home. The staff are great and helpful too. The people were fantastic, it was safe and clean, the location is great, right between the cbd and st. kilda's, and Prahran is a great little suburb. Felt like a big family...totally wonderful. Thanks to Pat for his hospitality and help. It was a pleasure!

Liked: If you're looking for the place to party this is it. A large crowd of people are right on board with you...though surprisingly if you want to sleep they're curtious enough to party away from the bedrooms which is nice. Not the cleanest place ever but the staff are super helpful and nice and they have lots of facilities.

Liked: Lord’s Lodge is an AWESOME hostel, and Patrick is a fantastic operator! He’s got a wealth of information, is always smiling, and is an amazing cook! The hostel itself is of the vintage variety that I seek, preferring lots of character (and characters) over a sterile environment. He’s got croquet out front, BBQ and sangria on Saturdays, FREE Internet, and loads of movies to share with your new family. All ages, genders, and sizes will feel very welcome here.
