Lots of great facilities (cinema, fittness centre), very nice and helpfull staff, clean rooms. Only issues: kitchen not very well equiped (and not really clean) and bathrooms are clean but very wet most of the time. Rooms are also quiet cold.

Very clean and well laid out but slightly too clinical, which stopped it feeling very homely or welcoming ... I think they must have had a special deal on card swipes because you even needed to use them even to get into the bathroom (which were all already behind 2 sets of card swipe doors.) However, the location was excellent and the facilities (although expensive,) were very good.

Only a very short stay, but what I saw was better than any hostel I have seen in Europe, for what I thought was a very good price!!

we were 5 people in a family room, it was great. we had the perfect stay in Victoria Hall Hostel! the staff, the cleanliness, the facilities, the location... perfect! I would highly recommend this place.

It was amazingly clean, and was more like a hotel than a hostel. The rooms were spacious and even though I was in a 6 person dorm, it was still private because of the layout of the room. The staff was also great!

Amazing place. very much like a hotel and incredibly secure. a little walk into the heart of the city but means it is nice and quiet. tv in room was so good. very much recommended. just dont stay at yha "central" as it is very much not central

Very comfortable beds, spacious dorms, and easy to walk to everywhere of interest in Melbourne. Loved it. It would be even better with free internet which every traveller needs, so why not build it into the price.
