Liked: The bed and room was clean

Disliked: Its quite run down and lots of things were broken like toilet seats. It in an old office building and the wall of your room don't reach the ceiling. This means you can hear everyone else in their room and they can here you.

Liked: The location is very easy to get. It is very good to traveler who bring a heavy luggage, and it is why I chooses Elephent.

Disliked: The room is a little bit small. So my roommates and me had no even enough room to put our luggagies.

Disliked: Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. I know you get what you pay for but I would expect a roof over my head and plug sockets in my room. The Walls around the bedroom aren't real, so you hear everything going on in everyone's bedrooms. We had no sleep due to this. The room didn't feel secure as anyone could jump/climb into your room. The hostel was filthy and there was no hot water when having a shower! Never in my life would I stay here again.

Liked: I liked a comfortable surrounding which can cook by oirself and free bread there.

Disliked: It was a little bit unconfortable for each room built with open wall near ceiling or it means sounds of people who are staying in next room are heard well.

Liked: the dvds to borrow

Disliked: kitchen = horrible!!! no space in the fridge, things get stolen, problems with electricity.... and it's not a nice place to hang around - it's a dark dirty garage! internet = too expensive best rooms on 3rd floor, but no window! air condition sometimes didn't work, and even if it did you couldn't turn it on at night because everyone would be sick the next day!

Liked: they have got good security system.

Disliked: firstly, here is really really dirty. i don't think they maintain and clean the kitchen. besieds, they don't have enough appliance and dishes. the kitchend was located in the basement. it was not that bad, though, however the problem is that it was extremely dirty and filthy! the other thing is their staff. overall, the staff are kind of good and friendly, but some of them are a little bit rude. lastly, the cabin (rooms) don't have strong walls. (i could here all of the noise from other rooms. each of the compartments doesn't have a wall, it was like just a big room,

Liked: Cheap. Good location.

Disliked: It is not really a double room is a big dorm with separations (open roof). I think that the hotel not describe honestly this in the webpage. Enough clean but very noisy and the feeling is that is not a safe place to leave valuables in the room.

Liked: Nice and Big and Central, Cheap!

Disliked: The rooms are pretty weird. No overall ceiling for any of the rooms, like sleeping in a toilet cubicle, the roof is one roof, but a gap between the roof and room - but obviously a bedroom. I have never seen anywhere like this before and you are in the midst of everything going on. Nightporter very friendly.

Liked: Localization.

Disliked: No real rooms, just cubicles made of carton-like walls, with no ceiling, you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on on the entire level, so it is very hard to sleep, especially the talking elevator was driving me crazy. NO ELECTRIC SOCKETS in the 'rooms', so you need to sit outside to keep an eye on your things when charging or go downstairs and leave it at the recpetion. No towels unless you buy them. Altogether really bad and tiring experience, I would never stay there again. Ugly, run-down basement serving as a laundry, computer room, common room and a kitchen at the same time. Amazing that they have the guts to give that to people in exchange for 35 AUD per night . TERRIBLE.
