Liked: Great location but the lifts are a pain as the key cards never work and you keep getting stuck. Staff were not very helpful.

Liked: The bathrooms and rooms were clean but the guests weren't always mature enough to clean up after themselves. Quite a party hostel at night but the place is so big you don't really hear anything (unless people run screaming down the corridors and puke up on the toilet door... it happened). Chilled lounge area during the day. It was very secure which was great but you need the key cards to get into everything. This caused a bit of a problem in the lifts as the cards often didn't work. One lift always seemed to be out of order. Lesson: take the stairs. Friendly and helpful staff. More cups needed for the kitchen. The location was EXCELLENT and the price was great for 4 persons in a room.

Liked: Huge backpackers right in the centre of town just opposite Flinders Street Station.Lots of facilities and helpful staff with a busy and happening bar below and 24 hour reception (except for their frequent breaks!).. Bit of a party hostel but with 11 floors never really had a problem with the noise even during Melbourne Cup week.Private doubles had TVs and although a little small but were clean.Keycards needed for access to just about everything making it secure even if they were a little annoying when you had to swipe several times for them to work sometimes - especially if just trying to get to bathroom!Would recommend and would stay there again. Obviously you can get smaller cosy hostels but for a city hostel this was great.

Liked: it was close to everything you need. was a fun place with lots of things going on so it was very hard to get bored, even when it was rraining or cold
