CMA is a "boutique backpackers" that is exclusive to only 30 guests. Clean, comfortable dorms, single & double rooms.

CMA is situated in the heart of exciting Richmond - Melbourne's cafe, restaurant and discount shopping district - only 10 minutes from the city center and MCG, with the famous Melbourne trams within 50 meters.

Laundry, TV, video and Internet (and Wi Fi) access. Free BBQ and off street parking.

Friendly, local staff can give you employment assistance and have great contacts for free tickets for Melbourne's biggest shows and events. Being close to major hospitals, CMA is ideal for nurses looking to work in Melbourne.

CMA provides long term accommodation for international tourists traveling on a current international passport. Passports must be shown upon arrival.

CMA reserves the right to refuse accommodation to anybody who does not comply with these conditions.

Accommodation Information

Central Melbourne Accommodation is exclusive to 30 guests.

CMA is mainly 4 bed or 6 bed dorms (including female only dorms). However, we also provide double, twin and single rooms.

Most rooms have sunny balconies, some with city views.

All rooms have free bed linen provided.

Location Information

Richmond is one suburb to the east of the city center (at the better end of town).

Within 2 minutes walk you will find 24 hour supermarket, banks, McDonalds, cafes and restaurants. Bridge Road is shopping heaven for bargain clothes and shoes.

Saturday mornings hosts a farmers market with the freshest, cheapest fruit and vegetables only 1 minute walk away.

CMA is close to all public transport - trams, trains and buses only minutes away.

Within 15 minutes walk, MCG and Australian Open Tennis is at the end of our closest street.
