Liked: Good location if needing near the station. Friendly night staff on reception and the free breakfast is nice extra - is basic but more than sufficient. Good to have lockers in dorm and seemed secure to get to the dorm areas

Disliked: Large dorm was quite messy and not a lot of room.

Liked: The staff at King Street were really friendly and the free pasta night on Wednesday was a great treat!!

Disliked: Anne left no negative feedback.

Liked: Kitchen facilities are a plus

Disliked: Air condition is too cold, can not be switched off or steered individually. There's a lot of noise on the floors (even the doors shut with a noise) - sleeping is almost impossible.

Liked: Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Free meals, and great services.

Disliked: Not the cleanest, nowhere to store luggage so everybody had their stuff everywhere, and it is on a nightclub street so pretty noisy on weekends but that was expected, just bring earplugs.

Liked: The staff were easy to get along with, and it was close enough to most locations or transport.

Disliked: Apart from the free meals, there wasn't much else to do there

Liked: 2 mins walk from Southern Cross Station!! Can't get any better than that.

Liked: Close to coach station, it' good for people who need to catch the early aircraft like me. Friendly and clean.

Liked: Great hostel atmosphere with a good breakfast every day

Disliked: Security of items wasn't great but they do warn you and if you feel that your items are insecure then you are welcome to put them in the hostel backroom or lockers.

Liked: Very well organised with excellent, friendly, and helpful staff working there with good sense of humour. Very central and close to southern cross station

Disliked: The shower wasn't that great, hard to keep your clothes from getting wet in that small cubicle, and the pillow was a bit too big. But these were very minor things, and otherwise overall was an excellent hostel, highly recommended

Liked: Love this hostel! Stayed 3months and then back for a quick stop. Very central, free food a few times a week, great common area, Friendly staff, they don't close the kitchen at night

Disliked: It's pretty expensive, n they don't organise any activities or nights out. But good common areas make it easy to meet people, would definetly reccomend

Disliked: Weird people hanging out here, who stay permanently I guess. Dark rooms and bad smell in the corridors.

Liked: It was very clean and the room i stayed in was huge. They easily could have crammed in more beds but didn't.

Disliked: Everyone who lived there seemed to be working full time. I didn't meet as many other travelers as I have at other Hostels

Liked: Good location, close to Southern Cross Station.

Disliked: Small rooms, not very clean, no heater pretty cold in winter, lamp at my bed was not working, wifi internet was very expensive ($3 per hour). The bathrooms were flooded after someone used the shower. Thin walls, pretty loud at night.

Liked: close to airport bus

Disliked: way too small and cramped, tv lounges are a tv not connected properly and a decrpit sofa for 2 .noisy; had to get adrunk evicted nite I stayed; very poor, some of stafff uninterested

Liked: Its location. That was mainly it. A very easy walk from Southern Cross station if you're coming in via SkyBus.

Disliked: The rooms are a bare basic. In the dorms, you can't really decide who you're sharing with and sometimes there are a few creepies out there. Rooms didn't appear particularly ordered. In mine there was a pair of old undies floating about which was a little urghhh.

Liked: Nice dorm, I had the 16 bed one but they do it well like it is almost two rooms really and I was able to sleep without any problems getting woken up by people who were coming and going. I loved how each bed had it's own light so you could read if you wanted to or turn it off if you wanted to go to sleep. Nice and warm, nice clean and crisp sheets. Good that had breakfast, although basic, free dinner on Wednesdays!!! Good location, close to everything.

Disliked: Bathrooms could probably do with a bit of a scrub down but not too bad, internet wasn't really very accessible but there were lots of cafes in Melbourne so no biggy. No real complaints.
