Property description / Overview of facilities
St Kilda is fast becoming Melbourne’s favourite playground with its café culture, latte lifestyle and drinking delights! As the number of bars, restaurants, café’s and clubs grows by the month, St Kilda certainly is one of the most lively and cosmopolitan suburbs of Melbourne.
On weekend’s Melbournians flock to St Kilda to relax by the beach, skate along the foreshore or walk through the huge clown’s mouth for some thrills at Luna Park.
Base St Kilda a state of the art building with great facilities, which include an internet cafe, travel desk, kitchen, laundry, lounge room, car park & the Red Eye Bar with different activities & drink specials every night makes it a great location to meet new people!
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, lockers under the beds heating & air conditioning and full linen is provided for your comfort!
The Girls Sanctuary Rooms also include free towel hire, shampoo & conditioner and free champagne every night between 6-7pm. What more could you want ;-)

Directions / How to find your hostel
From Airport:
Catch the Frankston & Peninsula Airport Shuttle (the Green & White bus) from outside the international terminal. They will drop you at our front door. (Runs between 6 am - 6 pm). After hours take the Sky bus to Southern Cross Station and then take tram #96 to St Kilda.
From Southern Cross Station:
Grab your bag and walk straight out to Spencer St and turn right (south). Walk to Bourke St (40 meters). Board a 96 tram bound for St Kilda. Cost $3.10 valid for 2 hours, you must pay in coins. Trams leave regularly every 5 – 30 minutes. It should take only 20 – 25 minutes to get to the corner of Carlisle and Acland Streets, just past Luna Park (Fun Park with a clowns face out the front). Get off here.
From Luna Park/ Mc Donald’s:
Walk 50 meters up Carlisle St until you reach a glaringly obvious big red building, this is your base.
