Liked: This hostel was very clean.The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. It caters to a 18-28 crowd and has a busy ground level restaraunt/pub and a more upscale bar on the rooftop with a lovely view, called the Next Level. The location is excellent-close to the beach and the trolley which takes you into the heart of Melbourne.

Liked: The private rooms are fantastic. It is a noisy party hotel which I don't mind being on holiday but unfortunately very middle of the road clientale and entertainment, not very alternative, interesting or diverse The music is not my thing ropey 80s radio friendly funky stuff and a singer doing Coldplay covers.....

Liked: The bathroom was amazing for a hostel. The only thing was that they limited the balcony door so that you couldnt get out onto the balcony! All the staff were nice. Roof wasn't open when i was there but the people before said it was worth going to on a friday !

Liked: the hostel was really quite clean - everyday they cleaned rooms and bathrooms. but they are really a bit unorganized about the rooms. On our arrival completely drunken guys were sleeping in our beds. One guy of the three of us had to sleep in another room therefore.Not every room has lockers. And not all the lockers are possible to lock.But nevertheless a good place to stay.

Liked: really enjoyed my stay in this hostel, it really had that comfortable atmosphere that all hostels should have and while its a good place to meet people and party you still get your sleep

Liked: there was a very friendly atmosphere from all staff and guests, and the various activities on nightly, as well as Happy Hour, ensured that there was always something to do, but more importantly for someone travelling by themsleves, a relaxed atmosphere to meet people
