Liked: Cleanliness and attractive. Very close to water, hotel, restaurants, public transport and the pier. Loved the quiet surrounding area, very peaceful and relaxing. The availability of brochures for things to do on the Island, well presented and having rental vechicles available at the resort was very convienient. Absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: A bit too close to the swimming pool.

Liked: What I liked about this property was the location was close to picnic beach, resturants, and wildlife. The room had it's own private bathroom and well stocked kitchen. The owner, Dave, was helpful with booking us with a great day.

Liked: Tropical Palms was exactly what I was looking for, a very clean, peaceful retreat with all facilities required for all types of travelers, budget or not. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean have brand new microwaves, flat screen tv's & dvd players for those quieter nights. There is a pool and garden area for relaxing, wireless internet access, laundry facilities, car and scooter hire, activity booking facility and small shop for basic necessities and dvd rental. The owners Michelle and Dave were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Upon arrival they had map all marked out with the primary recommended spots to visit and restaurant and shop locations. Surrounded by trees the beautiful birds and wildlife are present and If you are lucky you may even get to see the possums feeding in the garden at night and get to meet 'Gus' the resident cockateel!! Excellent stay, definitely recommend it.
