Liked: Great hostel. Very helpful staff. Free breakfast and Wifi (which actually worked!). Quiet and clean. Helped us book our trip to Fraser Island. All in all a fantastic hostel.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Really big clean kitchen. Free coffee/tea. Big common area and movie room. Good location- close to beach and cares. Ran shuttle busses to and from supermarkets to buy food etc. friendly staff

Disliked: Somewhat lacking personal atmosphere- but still a nice place to stop over.

Liked: Best hostel we've stayed in, really nice and modern. Rooms were always clean and felt very safe and secure here. the guys who work here are so friendly and helpful! Commen area is really nice and they have a huge tv. Great location on the beach and really easy for access to Fraser Island.

Disliked: They didn't have any nights on when we were there where for example they'd have a BBQ for dinner or pizza night etc so everyone could mingle. No lockers but this place is so safe we didn't feel the need for one.

Liked: This was THE best hostel i've ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and so helpful, the owner would chat to everyone and even ate with everyone in the evening. It's great value for money, free wifi, a good free breakfast, free shuttle bus, cinema, pool, clean rooms etc etc, i couldn't have asked for more!

Liked: The rooms were and spacious. The main living are was also spacious with many plug sockets so you could connect your laptop. The kitchen area was large with good facilities and well maintained. There was a frequent shuttle bus to town which did make a stop at the supermarket on the way

Disliked: There was nothing majorly wrong with this hostel and it was very good value for money.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at Flashpackers! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. We had our own bathroom which was big and clean. The free breakfast was also good. This is hostel is the money worth!

Liked: Nice enough rooms. Lovely kitchen and lounge area. Brilliant walk in fridge. Staff were good to organise trips with etc. They run a shuttle bus to greyhound stop and also they will drop off at the shops or wherever on the way.

Disliked: No air conditioning and the fans in the rooms are absolutely useless. One tiny plug in fan per room so it you're the last person to get to the room at night, your socket is the one used up for the fan. Then you have no socket to use as a charge point! There was one power outlet at each bed. It was just way too hot and everyone in different rooms said the same! Also it was a little dark when walking around to some of the back rooms at night. They could use a light or two to brighten it up and make it feel a bit safer. They closed the common area at 12 every night although sometimes it was earlier (ie before 11:30!). Some people like to stay up later!! Free wifi didn't work properly a lot of the time.

Liked: Very chilled out, clean, common area looks more like a swanky apartment than a hostel, helpful and accommodating staff, verandah and pool, regular free shuttles to Greyhound terminal and shops

Liked: Wow, this hostel is the best hostel i have ever stayed at. Friendly staff, breakfast every morning, free wifi...two pillows, nice shower...all the best.

Disliked: To bad that the fan is not installed on a cealing, because now takes up to much space between doors of toilet and a door to showers. In a living room there is a huge sofa and the cleaning staff should clean it also, because people leave mugs on it and the stains are seen. A lot of ants in the kitchen.

Liked: The kitchen is awesome, the pool area is very very nice and the staff is super friendly, they shuttle you almost anywhere you wanna go. The best hostel I've staid in so far.

Liked: This is the best hostel I have stayed in so far during my trip through Asia and Australia! The guys who run reception are really helpful and have a really positive attitude. There is a good social area, and lots of facilities in the kitchen area. Some nice touches such as indiviudal double sockets and lights above each bed in the female dorm I was in. Also, toilet separate from shower so they can be used without getting in each other's way. Although I had already booked this hostel, it was recommended to me during my travels, and I have done the same since.
