Liked: Hostel was empty so we were upgraded, and friendly staff

Disliked: Nothing to do, opens doors... good place to be quiet

Liked: It had some where sleep.

Disliked: Reception area was closed, had to go across the road and wait 20 mins while owner finished her drink before she attended to several of us checking in. Kitchen and outdoor area very filthy. No soap in bathroom. kitchen ill equipped.

Liked: Hostel was in the best location, a pub and general store were just next door, and a short drive got us to the 12 Apostles for sun set... perfect!

Disliked: Outside could have done with some maintenance and the rooms had no fan or fly screens so on a hot day our room was a little uncomfortable to sleep in. Overall though no complaints! I'd visit again and recommend to all of my friends!

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, great pub with fantastic meals over the road run by the same people.

Liked: Everyone was really friendly and we had a great night in the bar over the road (linked with the hostel). Hostel was clean and well-equipped. It was also really close to some great sights! Not much in the village it's based in, but everything you would need for a night's stay.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: couch. a lot of DVDs to watch, distance to 12 apostles.

Disliked: COLD. Couldn't take a shower at night because it was too cold! Almost couldn't cook dinner also

Liked: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! The hostel was about 7 mins drive from the 12 Apostles and luckily we managed to get directions from a helpful guide at the apostles.The owner was very friendly and helpful, there is a local pub/restaurant/cafe/shop across the road with cheap food. The hostel itself was clean and tidy with DVDs available and a communual social area. All in all we had a great nights stay at the hostel and woudl recommend it!

Disliked: The only downside i would say is the communnual plates and cups were quite dirty, as was the outside cooking area. Directions should say "turn off Great Ocean Rd AT Princetown, on the left from Melbourne or right from Adelaide."

Liked: Nice atmospher and good location to stay on Ocean Road near to 12 apostles

Disliked: It wasn't exactly cheap for twin room and our room had a number of populated spider webs which could have been cleaned out before we checked in

Liked: Homely atmosphere, large DVD collection, friendly hosts

Disliked: When we arrived it was quite dark & there was no proper signage, almost missed the place. The toilets were not very clean & the soap was never topped up.

Liked: Lovely place, isolated in the countryside, 10km from 12 apostoles, people in the hostel and the 2 shops next door very welcoming, possibility to watch a dvd (large choice, free)
