Liked: Nice and really frendly staff. Trying to be really helpfull. Great location, wakling distance to the trainstation. Free and fast wifi internet just across the road.

Disliked: Bathroom and rooms are rally dirty. Bed Bucks in the room got bitten all over my face and upper body!!!!!! The guys using the girls showers and toilets as well.

Disliked: not the cleanest place we've stayed and the building itself seems to be falling apart

Liked: This is a cavernous old hotel and a bit faded about the edges. But they offer single rooms to solo travellers at decent prices. I will stay here again.

Liked: Munchies opposite

Disliked: the uncleanliness of it, and the general run down, the rack and ruin of the bathroom facilities, even as a hostel certain things should be there, like gerenal cleanliness.

Liked: The Hostel was in a convenient location. The staff were OK.

Disliked: There is not much more that I can say that is positive about the place. The overall cleanliness and appearance of the hostel was poor. The toilets/showers had not been cleaned in a while and the rooms were dingy and dirty. I will not be returning to this hostel.

Liked: close to city center, big and calm place.

Disliked: every thing is broken... men toilets are unable al showers are broken even the bathroom door.

Liked: Great location, really friendly staff, great atmosphere, and when i got here i found out when booking a week or more in advance its a discounted rate!

Disliked: showers/toilets/kitchen were never particularly clean, girls ones were fine til later in the day, the shared ones were always gross

Liked: The character of the building.

Disliked: Messy and dirty toilets, building was really run down, basic room facilities - no heating/cooling. A coat of paint to restore some of the historic buildings former glory would be great. Current owners really let the place go.

Liked: A bit quieter than the other hostels in Fremantle; more open and spacious; big backyard patio with tables, bbq, etc.

Disliked: Just needed a new coat of paint, looked a bit run down but wasn't....

Liked: loved the really old building, great outdoor area to sit, drink and meet people. would recommend this hostel to anyone.

Disliked: a little dodgy some of the facilities but that comes with any historic building and i think just adds character to the place. did get a threatning phone call before we arrived, just after we booked telling us that we better not break anything as we were a 'party group?' which was a bit offputting.

Liked: It was cheap

Disliked: It was dirty, the facilities for recreation in the evenings were poor. All the doors had been broken into, the locks on the bathrooms had been smashed in. There were clear signs of attempted break ins on the "safe"lockers.

Liked: It gives you an oppurtunity in Australia to feel like being in the third world. The windows need to be painted. The lock was very weak, and in one morning I found a dead mouse in my room.To be honest, the staff was very helpful.
