Liked: Wasn't busy so we got a dorm room to ourselves
Disliked: Seemed like a lot of longstayers rather than people holidaying. Quite dirty

Liked: Close to bus, food shop. Walking distance to takeaways.
Disliked: Non-functioning air con (but we were given a discount on tariff as a consequence). Other guests smoking and talking outside our windows until very late at night.

Liked: The other travellers were friendly and helpful. The bedding was clean, and lockers are available in the rooms to keep your stuff secure.
Disliked: The rooms were dirty, hot, and crowded, there were only 2 showers for all the dorms, both of which were really dirty. The air con was only on at night, which made it cold to sleep but too hot to sleep in! The staff are hardly ever around. They allowed a hooker to stay! Its quite a long walk from the town centre.

Liked: Amazing service from staff, they went out of there way to check us in after a long international flight at 5am in morning, helped with everything. the backpackers is just far out of CBD so you not awake all night like others right in CBD but close enough to everything. Nice crowd of people there very cool and relaxing. Top notch place, one of the best Ive been.
Disliked: Limited air-con time only in night, not threw day.

Liked: It's a nice place, if you like it more quiet. In the end we desided to stay a few more nights. It's not the Hilton, but it's good value for your money. It´s a more relaxed atmosphere, which attracts more responsible people. It was good.

Liked: Do not go here! This was our worst hostel ever (even considering we are traveling for two months now)! When we came our bed was filled with pubic hair and glitters. The room, kithcen and the shower were very dirty, the shower curtain was entirely black from mold. The reception is only open for 4 hours a day (8-12 am) which was extremely unhandy because we had a tour to Kakadu National Park at 6:30. The receptionists hardly speak any English!
