Liked: it was clean and breakfast was nice

Disliked: the other guests were long term and so had no interest in interacting with other guests. As a single female travelling alone I wasn't happy to put in a dorm with 3 guys. On my arrival I wsa advised badly of where to go in Darwin

Liked: Free laundryfacilities was a great feature after the sweaty Kakadu trip:-).

Disliked: Did not serve breakfast early enough so we could eat it before trip started to Kakadu at 6.30. In Alice most hostels will have breakfast early enough so that you can eat before tour. On the expencive side for a double room.

Liked: the staff were the best ever! It was a great pleasure staying there and this hostel and its staff has left a change impression of the aussie people and it is all good.

Liked: Due to being overbooked we were upgraded to a double room for no extra cost which was nice, the managers are lovely n there are some really friendly n helpful people about! The pool is nice an the kitchen is big, could do with an extra hob thou as there's more people needing to use it most of the time! Bathrooms are clean n so far...no spiders!! free breakfast is good, good choice of cereal, bread, jam, peanutbutter, nitrous, croissants, crumpets, pancakes...list goes on! :) same price as most hostels on this road who seem to offer less!

Disliked: When we arrived early (having told them we were) we had to wait outside the gate until 6am to be let in and then had to wait until an hour n a half after normal 11am check in time for the room to be ready because they were overbooked. Some of the staff aren't very helpful (some are lovely thou!). Internet is quite pricey here esp if you don't have your own device.

Liked: Free breakfast, free laundry after 2pm. Good atmosphere with decent location.

Disliked: Kitchen got a bit filthy at times, but that's the fault of the people staying at the time, not the hostel.

Liked: Great location. The huge free breakfast. Free laundry.

Disliked: No lockers. Too many rules, luggage storage only available until 4:30pm.

Liked: the breakfast, the atmosphere, the place. small, nice. good when you are travelling alone. pretty clean, quiet. loved it here! :)

Disliked: the owner seems like an ass. haha. but other than that it was pretty good!

Liked: The staff were really nice, particularly the partner of the manager who was really passionate about Darwin and the Top End which was lovely!

Disliked: I shouldn't take it out on the property too much, but there were some guests staying there when I was who were quite inconsiderate and unpleasant to share the place with. The toilets and showers seem to only be cleaned once a day so they weren't in the nicest state come evening.

Liked: This hostel is fine, it feels like a beach house, different rooms over looking courtyards and a pool etc. Breakfast is all you can eat toast and cereal (and tea/coffee) which is one of the best things about it. The other good thing is the excellent staff, especially young Aussie lass Rhyanna, she knows everything about Darwin and all the tours every company does and can provide heaps of help with all these. So all in all the hostel is just a place to sleep (and meet lots of partygoers if that's your thing), but it's the breakfast and (as I said above) the really good staff who make it above average.

Disliked: No lockers but it seemed safe enough. Top bunks don't have bars on them!
