Liked: The location and the free meals are good. The manager Cindy is helpfull and friendly.

Disliked: It's a realy nice place for younger travelers (18-22 yrs) if you're over 25 and you to blend in a little bit, go somewhere else.

Liked: Cheap and cheerful. Fun and friendly staff. Only 5/10 mins walk to main shopping areas and cinemas/pubs. Free breakfast is basic toast but free evening meal is excellent from Woolshed, just 5/10 mins walk away. Great selection of meals including vegie. Well worth the stay for the budget concious traveller! Staff also great with making bookings to tourist attractions such as reef tours and Kuranda, etc.

Liked: Location is great! Cool pool area outside and very nice porch. Atmosphere is a party type environment, so don't expect to get to bed early if your on a scheduel, it tends to be loud until about 1:00pm or so. The people at the hostel are really nice and friendly.
