Liked: Very well organised hostel, good crowd of backpackers, very friendly, homely-feel to it. I travelled alone and met loads of people there but if you want to party you'd best go into town as lights go out at 10:30. I would recommend though particularlyif you want some peace and quite as well as meeting people not invloving getting drunk

Liked: relaxed and clean... a bit far from city centre. free dinner was great but needed upgrade it.

Liked: nice feel to the hostel friendly staff etc. having booking agent within hostel was a good help in organising activities. very close to town centre. kitchen is small but free meal provided at nearby woolshed

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful in booking our tours and the hostel has a really relaxing and tropical atmosphere. It's clean and in a good location. Definitely worth the money!

Liked: The owner of the hostel Dave is the most helpful person you could met! he is brilliant at getting really good deals on trips around cairns, and i mean lowest prices around believe me i check!

Liked: This hostel is ace, make sure you stay here when you come to Cairns! We were tempted by Gilligans, but if you fancy somewhere where you can get more than 3 hours sleep but still have a great time stay here. Great BBQ on Sundays. We love Dan and Dave!
