Liked: Everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was excellent. I can't imagine staying anywhere in Cairns. Also, everything you might need, sucj as bars, shopping, etc., is easily walkable, as is the Coral Sea.

Liked: Nice place to rest your head and plan on your tourist activities (i.e. Scruba Diving). The front desk was extremely helpful.

Liked: Lovely, clean and peaceful hostel. I met many people here but the atmosphere was very relaxed and not a party atmosphere. Great location across the road from the shopping centre and train station, and only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. One of the best hostels I've stayed in. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Cairns.

Liked: Really relaxed atmosphere and very central. A fantastic restaurant right next door as well with 10 dollar dinners that are really tasty. Good kitchen, BBQ and lots of couches to chill out in....

Liked: Bathrooms average for cleanliness but everywhere else eg rooms, kitchen etc very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff and atmosphere. Really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: It's small, more like a really big house than a hostel. Has character, loads of bright colours, hammocks, plants, trees and fans. Very interesting and tropical. Didn't feel like a sterile, huge business. Good cosy, bohemian atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful (when the desk is open) and will really go out of their way for you, even before you arrive.
