We have spacious indoor and outdoor areas, BBQ, nice tropical gardens and no bunk beds; all city attractions are within walking distance - 1km (kilometre) to Cairns city centre- Cole’s supermarket and Cairns Central Shopping Centre next door. Free airport pickup, large clean kitchen and laundry facilities. We have an excellent backpackers’ atmosphere, but this is not a party hostel so you'll be able to have a good and safe rest; that's why Gecko's Backpackers has been recognised to be a quiet relaxing resort for resting travellers. Located in a quiet area, our guests can relax in our big deep swimming pool, or lie back in our inside garden and chill out reading a good book in an adequate environment. So with the promise of a relaxing and quiet night we have different kinds of rooms available.
