Liked: The owners of the hostel payed attention to every little detail concerning decoration. The hostel is colorful, welcoming and very clean. Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. Also there are but 3 beds in the dorms. Don't even hesitate, go!

Liked: This hostel is WONDERFUL. One of the best I've stayed at. They have an incredibly nice, friendly and helpful staff who are always ready to help you quickly and effecinetly. They also take the trouble to learn every guest by name. They book all tours and shuttles quickly and properly. The property is gorgeous secluded off the main road by a big fence and surrounded by trees and flowers. The pool has a great sitting area and a lagoon type feel. They also have great outdoor seating for meals and snack and drink machines available. They have a GIANT well stocked main kitchen and a cozy living room with a comfy couched, a big tv with cable and a dvd player. My room was very clean and comfortable and although a paid for a 4 person dorm there were only three beds in the room at all. NO BUNKBEDS though...hooray! Only downsides are the Air Con and the location. Air Con is extra something like $2 for three hours....but if u didnt have change and were broiling at night...too bad! I never used it...i found the fan to be enough. The hostel is not in a GREAT location. Its walking distance to the beach and the pier and right next to the big shopping mall, but its a farther than normal walk to the pier (where ALL boats leave from) and when the mall is closed you have to walk all the way around it to get to town and the beach...which is annoying. All and all, I loved it. Met wonderful people in all the common areas and was very comfortable. Definitely a great place to stay!

Liked: Public areas are being cleaned 3-4 times a day!! Incredibly clean. Nice atmosphere as well, niceley painted and decorated and with nice pool area in the middle. Wi-Fi for $5/day.This will be one of the best hostels you will come across in the whole of Australia...

Liked: Firstly Kathy and Gabriel are fantastic hosts. The decor is brilliant and also the other visitors were great. This all made you feel comfortable and very welcome. The Bar-B-Q nights are fun too.

Liked: The Monday evening 'real Aussie barbie' with roo, croc and emu was good fun and a great way to meet people if travelling on your own - a bargain @ $10!
