Liked: The staff were extremely helpful-they can never do enough for you and are even up for showing you what Cairns nightlife is like! The hostel was very clean-showers and communal areas get cleaned 4 times a day. The pool area was great for relaxing in all day. This hostel is good for both chilling out but also pretty good for meeting people to go out partying with. I also highly recommend the BBQ night on Mondays where you can try Emu, Kangaroo and Crocodile and learn to play the didgeridoo. All in all i had a fantastic time in this hostel, the staff really make it!

Liked: As it becomes clear from the ratings above I really enjoyed staying at Travellers Oasis. One thing that is worth pointing out is the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. We ran into several problems which never affected our vaccation mainly due to the effort of the staff at Travellers Oasis! Great place, great staff, highly recommendable!

Liked: Everything!! It has the most amazing atmosphere and the staff is really really nice and helpfull, and its clear to see they love their work and love to entertain the guests aswell. They make dinnernights with BBQ and its a great place to meet people. The rooms are really good too. Its the best place Ive ever stayed.

Liked: everything is considered, they really take care of you and explain everything in the local area and make the effort to know everyones name. they also have tie-ups with local bars and restaurants to save money, and the entire place is like living in an oversized 60s hippy van with the groovy styling!

Liked: it's such a nice place to stay, very personal and friendly. it's beautiful there. if you want to book a tour, they can always help you. it's very calm, relaxed and it's not directly in the center, so it's not a typical party hostel, but if you want to go party the center is really not far away. and the pool is the perfect place to chill out in this hot area...
