Walking directions: Walk North along Lake Street from the central Cairns city area (towards the airport). A five minute walk and you should arrive. The SunRay Guest House is a large traditional Queenslander style building, just two blocks away from the Esplanade. Look out for the SunRay Guest House sign on the corner of Minnie Street and Lake Street.

Taxi from the airport: It is about a ten minute trip to the SunRay Guest House from the airport. The Sunray Guest House is located close to the heart of Cairns. From the SunRay Guest House, it is a short 5 minute walk to the Cairns Esplanade and the Cairns Esplanade Swimming Lagoon, the Cairns Marina and cruise ship pier, jobs in central Cairns, English schools, the library, and the central Cairns shopping and dining out district.
