Customer reviewgorgeous location, palm trees, mango trees, pool, bar, free tea and coffee! Amzingly helpfull staff with a tour desk to book trips! the grill offers yummy food mostly under $10 and there are 2 happy hours a night. I would definately recommenf this hostel for other travellers. |

Wilhelm Albert SieloffThe Hostel was really not clean in the room and also on the floor and kitchen. The breakfast offer was only a minimum and for that to expensive. The loudness after 22.00 pm was terrible on 2 days. I stay there 3 days. |

CLAIRE BANKSThe staff are very friendly and are VERY helpful. any questions you have they know the answer to or will find out. Its a very clean hostel, with great outside seating and a lively bar/restaraunt which also serves cheap meals (and delicious ones!) I can't really fault this hostel, the only thing I would say is that it doesn't have a tv area/lounge to relax in. although it does have a couple of sofas in the front of the hostel which you can relax in and read etc. Great hostel :) |

Customer reviewA nice place to stay, good atmosphere. However, if you like COOKING, DON'T go there. We were staying in building 3, where appearantly also the staf was located. They had only 2 stoves, extremely dirty, nobody cleans up after themselves and they have a stunning total of 3 plates for the entire building ?! But if you prefer eating in the hostel-bar you will certainly have a great time here. They run a handy shuttle-service to town. |

Customer reviewGreat staff and really friendly atmosphere. Margo was a great help with organising all my tours! Great value for money in the bar, most meals are about $10 and they're HUGE! The bus transfers were really good, got picked up from the airport in 15 minutes and got a great welcome on arrival. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend Calypso to anyone! |
