Liked: The staff are very friendly and are VERY helpful. any questions you have they know the answer to or will find out. Its a very clean hostel, with great outside seating and a lively bar/restaraunt which also serves cheap meals (and delicious ones!) I can't really fault this hostel, the only thing I would say is that it doesn't have a tv area/lounge to relax in. although it does have a couple of sofas in the front of the hostel which you can relax in and read etc. Great hostel :)

Liked: A nice place to stay, good atmosphere. However, if you like COOKING, DON'T go there. We were staying in building 3, where appearantly also the staf was located. They had only 2 stoves, extremely dirty, nobody cleans up after themselves and they have a stunning total of 3 plates for the entire building ?! But if you prefer eating in the hostel-bar you will certainly have a great time here. They run a handy shuttle-service to town.

Liked: Great staff and really friendly atmosphere. Margo was a great help with organising all my tours! Great value for money in the bar, most meals are about $10 and they're HUGE! The bus transfers were really good, got picked up from the airport in 15 minutes and got a great welcome on arrival. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend Calypso to anyone!
