About Caravella Backpackers Cairns City Waterfront

Our reception is open from 7am to 8pm and check in is available after 1pm. If you are arriving outside our office hours, you must make contact with us a minimum of 24hours prior to your arrival to obtain the late check in procedure. We offer a free airport pick up when you arrive during office hours.


Caravella Backpackers is an ideal base for adventurous trips and excursions, or just to relax beside the swimming pool. We arrange a host of tours including, diving, snorkelling, bungy jumping, sky diving and much more. Cairns is a stepping stone to the world famous Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. Located in the heart of the city. We also offer a free evening meal option every night you stay with us. The free meal is available at the Woolshed restaurant in the city when you purchase a beverage. We have accommodation to suit all, for a group or an individual. Everyone is welcome at the Caravella Backpackers.
