Customer reviewThe centre area is awesome to meet people and have a good time. Kitchen is averagely equipped, but offers a shelf full of free food, that is actually checked by staff members and kept really clean. When i was there, they offered a movie every night, but the stupid owner cancelled that. Hopefully, they reintroduce it!!! I stayed there for about a week and apart from little things I really liked it!!! |

Stephan Poserwas quite ok if you're on a budget pro: nice backyard, staff was great, rather cheap con: not really dirty but a little bit run-down (broken toilet, old cheap furniture), quite a walk to pretty much everything. |

Keith Fostermyself and my grlfriend stayed here for a few days to get us settled in cairns. The hostel picked us up from the airport which was brilliant because it saved us money. The hostel however is not so great, its a bit out of the way of the town centre but they do free bus runs into town. They don't offer a free backpacer meal either like most of the other places in the town centre. The kitchen is apalling so if you're thinking of making our own dinner, be prepared to wait for pans and hob space. The hot water didnt work in the shower block on the side of the hostel I was staying and my room was located just above the court yard, so when the hostel opens at 7am, the musc starts. Hearing the Lady Gaga album loop three times first thing on a morning and I wanted to smash my ears in with her disco stick. There are better places to stay in Cairns |

Customer reviewReally enjoyed the atmosphere of Njoy! The staff does a decent job though they are currently remodeling so there are a few inconveniences but they are livable. |

Customer reviewRoom was very nice and came with fridge and sink (double room). Free lifts into town every couple of hours although it's only a 10min walk. Only dissappointment was the kitchen. It has 2 ovens with hobs but very few pots and pans. With so many people staying there it can get very busy. |

Customer reviewThe property is okay if you're on a budget and are traveling with a group of friends. The dorm rooms are adequate with clean sheets but are very noisy at night when you return from a night out as the courtyard is in the centre of the building and is where everyone congregates at night! The bathrooms on one side of the hostel aren't in order if you want a hot shower, but all bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is pretty gross so don't expect to cook a lot there! Staff on reception vary- some are really helpful and some a really rude and are always 'too busy' to help. Its easy to meet people BUT there are a lot of long term-ers there, i.e: people who have been there for months at a time and although some a really lovely, fun and welcoming, others act like they run the place so it can be hard to meet genuine travelers. The swimming pool also looked gross so I wouldn't attempt a swim there! I'd give it a 5/10! |

Customer reviewIn comparison to Nomads Esplanade its a 5 star hostel. It has superior rooms and atmosphere, clean and safe and just for an extra 10 minutes walk its well worth giving nomads a miss. |

Customer reviewFor the price this is a good place to stay. Its about a 10min walk to the centre but they do provide a bus in the evenings. Staff are very helpfull and there are loads of trips you can book from reciption. All in all a good place. |
